We've had it picked out forever and all the stuff is monogrammed!!!
We have a few choices and are ready to go!
We will still be discussing it in labor and delivery and may have to send the birth clerk away!
Due to my culture/family/beliefs we don't name babies until they are born or a family member does this (please tell us more below if this is you)
Actually we could use some input, see below
I can't make any more decisions and am in total crisis about what to name this kid

In British Columbia, you have 30 days from birth to name your child before the province assigns the baby a number by default. You get sent home with the paperwork, and have to fill out all the legal shizz online on the Vital Statistics website.
Also, how cool are the commemerative birth certificates we can get here:
https://www.vs.gov.bc.ca/commemorate/index.html
Each of our kids has one... we just have to decide which one to go with this time around.
Monster Truck (It's a GIRL!) is due 19/02/2015!
Those are so pretty!

I love the names you both listed!! They're unique but not weird, and most importantly- I knew how to pronounce them!
Edit:spelling is hard.
Should LO be a girl, one of the names we're considering is Lilith.
Depending on whom one asks, there can be a negative religious association with the name. As secular people (I'm agnostic, DH is an atheist,) with a little known folklore, we're not overly concerned about the meaning. As the origin isn't well known, and the unlikelihood that peers would look up the name, I don't worry about teasing.
FWIW, my name is Christine "believer in Christ" and it certainly doesn't represent my beliefs, but it also doesn't bother me because it's a beautiful name my parents chose for me because they liked the name itself.
Since we have a bunch of smart, well-read ladies here, I'm curious how many are familiar with the name's meaning and/or origin. Without Google! Of course, feel free to Google it; but my desire is to know if the origin is as obscure as I believe. Thanks!

Our list includes: Jennifer, Emily, Willa, Samantha, Stephanie.
We're having a boy and I really love the name Benjamin. My husband likes it, but it's his brother's middle name and he thinks It's weird and we can't use it unless we say he's named after his brother. I totally disagree and think if we both like it, we should just go with it. Who is right - him or me?
@crispywheats My recollection with no googling is that Lilith was Adam's first wife before Eve and that something terrible happened? Or she was super rebellious?
Eta: We just think the name is pretty and had no idea about the folklore prior to considering it.
Eventually, I got frustrated and pointed out that chances are one of us will know someone by any name we choose and if we love a name, we should choose it for that reason.

Thanks for all of the input ladies! I feel much more confident as using it as a top choice. In the end, we'll pick what we like. We just don't want to set up our LO for a lifetime of teasing or resentment.
