Do I have enough NB covers?

I had loaned my SIL some NB prefolds, and she returned the favor with loaning me all of her NB covers. I have:

18 GMD NB PFs
12 GMD yellow edge PFs
3 GMD NB fitteds
2 GMD NB yellow edge fitteds
1 Diaper Rite small fitted
12 GMD flats
3 Thirsties size 1 AIOs

3 NB Super brites
3 NB Econobums
2 Thirsties Xsmall
2 Thirsties size 1 duos
3 Rarz NB covers

I am returning 2 Thirsties size 1 duos NWT because she had a boat load of covers and I really won't need them!

I haven't used the econobums but I did like the RAR covers a lot for NB. I also liked my lil Joey AIOs and BG AIOs. they didn't fit for a long long time but they fit great when she was small which was a huge relief Especially for MOTN changes.

Thirsties Size 1 just started to fit and she is two months old. She wasn't a small infant either - 8 1/2 lbs. but she had tiny legs so the size 1s were too small.

Looks like close to 36 changes that people around here recommend.

I am counting 11 covers (after you return the size 1s), right?  Sounds like plenty to me.

Everything might not fit perfectly right away, but that is definitely enough to get you by.

So you would have no Thirsties size 1s? If so, I suggest keeping those, since they will fit longer like the NB RaR covers. The Bummis and Thirsties XS won't fit for very long at all, so you will be left with only six covers (if the Econobums are a larger NB) that will fit between true NB and OS.

I still have 2 Thirsties size 1s after returning the ones I purchased. My OS stash is pretty good sized, so I'm hoping my Best Bottoms will help fill in the in between gaps. Any other suggestions?

I haven't tried Econobum NB, but from GMD's website they fit pretty small.  I would guess those, the Thirsties XS, and the Super Brites will be outgrown pretty quickly.  That leaves you RaRs and Thirsties Size ones, plus however many BBs you have for the in between sizes.  If you have at least three BBs I think you're good.  Otherwise maybe get something bigger like Blueberry Mini Coveralls or Capris.

Looks like you have plenty of prefolds/flats/fitteds.
