For fun. What is a name you just do not like or cannot understand why someone would choose it?
No getting offended, someone may LOVE it or it may be the name of someone you know. Just thought it would be interesting to pass the day.

My inputs: Almeta- This was a family members name she hated it.

Dalton- a family member chose this name for their son and I just wanted to buy the kid a pocket protector.

L-a'- pronounced La-dash-a. A nurse told me about this one and how pissed the mom was because no one could figure out her daughters name.

Female's not a myth in my case. I actually did meet someone with that name doing home care nursing. She was my patient's aide.

Names traditionally spelled differently with y's added in such as Caitlyn, Kathryn, Justyn, etc.

I also dislike Peyton for a girl. It will forever be masculine to me because of Peyton Manning.

I once knew a girl named Jealousy & her little brother was literally named Peanut. I always thought he would have a hell off a time growing up & being in high school with that name. I also know a girl with hippie parents named Whisper; and I once worked with a little boy with the first name Sir Diamond. She was totally whacky and he was extremely vain & spoiled.

I knew a girl in high school named Asia. As I thought about it, it seemed like a pretty name. Then I found out her brother is named Egypt. Kinda weird to me..

Also, another girl I knew in hs ended up changing her name to Aspen. Like Aspen Dental. I never understood why.

I can't stand nevaeh. It's just not right. And how it's pronounced it should be spelled neveah... which is NOT heaven spelled backwards. I also know of a real La-La (ladashla), and I have a hard time with names like Canyon Storm (first and middle).

Bullshit to those of you claiming to know a Le-a. The Social Security Administration had no record of this name ever being used, although there are records of Ledasha.

I love this game. I know 3 sister's from high school (I teach her son in preschool now) who's last name was Sweet. Their names were Always, Truly, and Very. Mom's name was Shirley (surely). Now, they are all married with weird names!

I also knew a teacher that taught family and consumer science and told the importance of checking the meaning of your child's names before naming them. Vagina was one because the teen mom had never heard that word and thought it was the most beautiful thing and had to name her daughter that. Also Shithead, pronounced sh-theed.

I also hate Neveah. Big eye roll.

My SIL named her little boy Tuf. I can't quite get on board with it. Their next baby boy will probably be named Cru.

I named my daughter Holland—which I sometimes second guess as too weird. But I'm okay with it since I spelled it correctly.
