Experiences with HALO Bassinest?

Hi everyone. We are expecting baby number 2 and I'm currently reevaluating early sleep options. With our daughter, we used the BabyHome Dream Cot until about four months when we transitioned to a mini crib (still in our master bedroom). After 15 mo, she started sleeping in her own room in a full-sized crib (we waited way too long with that, but that's another topic).

I had an unplanned csection with our daughter and must have a csection again. I really struggled getting our daughter in and out of the BabyHome Dream Cot because it's fairly low to the ground. I've read good things about the HALO Bassinest, and especially good things about its usefulness to recovering csection moms. If you've used it, what did you think?

For anyone interested in a bassinet, I think we've decided to go in a different direction. Looking at the Cariboo folding bassinet, replacing the standard Colgate mattress with one by Naturepedic.
