Hi ladies, Happy Friday! I'm not sure what protocol is in this instance but I'm just posting to say I've switched up my screen name for privacy reasons. So no more jksaintsing. I'm still here, still sending positive thoughts everyone's way and hoping for lots of good news soon for everyone! Happy New Year!

Ok, along similar lines, I just uploaded a picture as my avatar but I'm not seeing it when I post on the boards. I see it when I go to my profile, but not in the boards. Is there a delay or did I do something wrong?

Hey @dukegirlsc - I put my screen name change in my signature if you're comfortable with that. I thought it would help people remember in the short term. I'll probably delete it once people have sufficient time to commit to memory.

Thanks @emsmama15‌ I thought of copying that but thought maybe I'd do the post then "delete it" I have a friend TTC now and worry of being found. We are keeping things private, I only spill my guts here!!!

@dukegirlsc and @emsmama15 the best way to be recognizable/memorable is with your avatar. You both use bump ones. Maybe find one that is more personal to you. It doesn't have to be a picture of yourself or pet. Just something so when we see that unique avatar we automatically know it's you and it doesn't matter what the name attached to it says.
I am a visual person, that's why I have trouble when people change their name and use a bump avatar. I see so many of the same avatar it takes me a while to make the association.

This is just a suggestion.

This is my favorite pic of my Bella, but not recent.  She doesn't change much, though she has gained a couple pounds as she's aged.

I too took @hooligans4 advice and changed my avatar too. It's from Halloween, he was Yukon Cornelius and I'm Sally from the Island of Misfit Toys.

I changed my avatar also. It's me and hubby skiing. Something we enjoy and my consolation prize- for each month that we don't get pregnant, I can still ski. Trying to keep perspective that there are a lot of things I care about in life, not just this crazy process.

In regards to the avatar I uploaded a photo from my Ipad and it is sideways??? it didn't give me an option to fix it. I notice a few other members with sideway pics so I didn't feel so silly.

Mine is wine related.. but you can't really see it.  Changed it not too long ago from the generic knot bride but didn't want a "real" picture of me in case someone googled the image.  I come up pretty easily from my photography days. Still enough information to find me IRL if you put it all together but I don't care THAT much, just didn't want to make it too easy.
