From my last post I get that most of you are anti Brody, so I've been reading through the pages to find other names I like, and wanted to get your opinions on Dane.

The middle name is Hudson, but not because its trendy. My husband and I met on Hudson Street In NYC and have planned on using that name for a future son for the past 5 years. Now that it's so trendy we want to use it as a middle name.

I have really been hung up on Brody Hudson but now considering Dane Hudson.

Thoughts and suggestions?

 I like Hudson for the first name, since it was something special for you guys.

 I know you are concerned about trendiness, but I have a grown child who's name peaked in popularity the year he was born. So when he was little, we did run into it. But as they get older and grow up-it becomes a non issue. In the adult world, he isn't Firstname LastInitial.

I also have a name that was trendy in it's time, and as an adult, it doesnt matter at all. I didn't even care when I was a kid and was Firstname Lastinitial.
