Need an opinion on price.

So I have a chance to buy 6 prefolds with inserts for 25. I know 3 of them are charlie banana and the other 3 are bum (something?). I do know to check the condition and the inside lining, but I am new at buying these and just want some opinions on if this is a decent price for second hand.

I think you mean pockets.  If they're in really good condition, $25 sounds pretty good.  BumGenius new are like $17/$18 each.

Honestly....it kinda sounds too good.  But I'm a pessimist lol.

Yes, pockets, see I really am bad at this. I will let you know tomorrow how it goes. I meet up with her after our hospital tour. With me being pregnant, I'm not meeting anyone by myself. I'm too suspicious for that. Lol

Always wise to be suspicious of strangers.

My 2 cents: in addition to looking at them, give them a sniff.  If they smell nasty, they probably are.  And if they smell super strongly of detergent, I'd wonder if the scent was trying to cover up a problem.

Thank you for the tips! I never thought about a strong detergent smell. I just discovered about the plastic type lining on the inside I need to check. I actually discovered that one from someone who worked at the store that had it on consignment and she warned me about it. And thank you on the pregnancy. I am very excited to meet my little man.
