Formula Feeding

Where do you buy formula?

Hi all, We are in the process of transitioning from EBF to FF. We are giving him Enfamil, the regular yellow labeled kind because we are fortunate to have a daycare that provides formula and that's what they use and luckily my son is tolerating it well so we want to continue it at home. Where do you all purchase your formula? Any tips on how to receive a bargain or discount? I have joined the Enfamil club and receive a coupon from them once a month, but wondering if there is anything else out there. I'm in the upstate NY area so if you know of anything in this area I'd appreciate the info! Sorry if this question gets asked a lot, I searched the first couple of pages and didn't see anything regarding this. TIA!

  • Thanks, I always forget about target because it's a little out of the way, but I'll start looking out for their specials and I haven't even thought about buying on Amazon
  • I use Amazon mom and absolutely love it! I do formula, diapers, wipes, laundry detergent, and a few other household items I use regularly. If you do five monthly subscriptions you get 20% off total amount and free two day shipping. I would definitely look into it.

I use Diapers.com, buying bulk and autoship give you a discount. You can also mail in your coupons and they will be applied to your account. Depending on where you live it can be free overnight or two day shipping. We use it for diapers, formula and some snack foods!

I'm in upstate NY too! I have found that BJ's has a really good deal. $51.99 for 2 cans of 27 oz powder formula. I also use my coupons I get from Enfamil which brings it down a little bit more!

  • Thanks for the responses...formula is so pricey it's good to hear where to get the best deal.
  • When DD1 was drinking Enfamil I always got it at Target. They somehow follow your purchases even though there are no loyalty cards, and after a couple of times the register started spiting out Enfamil coupons for me... Anywhere from $3-$8 off per can. Pretty good deal.
  • I get mine at Costco, but I want to look at Amazon.
  • Thanks again.
  • do you have a Sam's Club?  I buy "bulk" containers there.
