Hi everyone, I am a newbie just trying to get acquainted! (I have read the newbie blog, don't worry) DH and I are both 20 years old and married. We both have stable careers, and the perfect little home to bring a baby into. We have just recently started TTC and of course are so excited about it. I am so new to TTC, still trying to figure everything out. I have a general idea of my fertile window, but working on tracking the O. I just wanted to introduce myself, and I would love to hear from some of you, since we all have the same goal in mind.

Hi there! DH and I will be trying for our first child later this month. We are excited and a little nervous which I think is to be expected. I think trying to keep the TTC and hopefully one day the BFP from our friends and family will be the hardest lol. I don't want to tell my parents until a min of 8-10 weeks and everyone else after 12, but I have big mouth and a Mom that every time I say "I have to tell you something," she automatically says "are you pregnant?!?" so we will see how that goes lol. Thank you, and best of luck to you as well! I have a big mouth too, dont feel bad. I just get overly excited for things and often set myself up for disappointment. I told DH we will probably have to tell our parents basically immediately after we find out, because I just cant keep things to myself! Good luck trying to keep it a secret once you get your bfp, let me know how that goes!

Hi! I'm new as well.  DH and I are 30 and 33 respectively.  We both have great jobs and a home so it just seems right.  We are preparing to TTC if that makes sense. My preference is to go off of BC in May as I don't want a winter baby. It's toooooo cold here!!! Now we are focused on eating healthy, working out, and taking prenatal vitamins so that my body is prepared.

I know; however, all of my friends that have recently conceived have gotten pregnant in under three months (I pray I'm that blessed) plus I have a busy schedule with work so I want to focus on taking prenatals and dropping 10 pounds before we go off the pill.

And my point was, we are choosing to wait until this spring/summer to begin trying.

@trice0903 Good to have a plan. My DH and I are also in a little baby limbo right now. We have a vague plan as to when to actually TTC (not there just yet), but I did go off BCP in December just in case we realize we've found the right time. Go your own pace and good luck!

I'm so type A and I've always been a planner.  We actually had a discussion tonight and the more I pin (to my secret boards) plus watch my friends have babies or announce their pregnancy the more excited I am to begin the journey.  And then I begin to get more practical.  We just shelled out a ton for the wedding so I'd like to build the account back up plus we were planning a couples trip in September so while I'm okay with being pregnant on the trip I'd prefer to be less than six months so that I still feel comfortable flying out of the country.  AND we've already put down our deposit lol. With that said, we are going on a tour of the birth center TOMORROW!! Super excited!! I may come off the pill early but as of tonight, April/May is the target.
