Re: Weight loss check in: Jan 2

  • Weight: 180

Lost/gained since last week: pretty much maintained over the last two weeks which I'm happy with given the holidays.

    Total weight loss: none really

Wins/positives: I've been working out a lot. I still feel motivated even though I haven't lost anything since I got somewhat serious about a month ago.

    Challenges: holidays. Travel. 'Nuff said

Tips/tricks/ideas/anything else: I am excited about a little thing I'm going to start. I bought a dry erase calendar and a board I am going to mount in my bathroom. It's going to be "motivation central". I am very visual so going to put my weight on there, goals for the week, and quotes, other stuff so that I see it every morning and night.

  • Weight: 183

Lost/gained since last week: - 2.6 since I last weighed myself a few weeks ago.

    Total weight loss: 20+

Wins/positives: I actually lost a couple pounds despite the holidays! I've been good about portion control and saying no thanks rather than eating just to be polite. I cheated a little bit with dairy but much less than I usually do over the holidays, so I'm going to call that a win.

    Challenges: holidays, MILs cooking, travel

Tips/tricks/ideas/anything else: I'm working on getting back into meal planning now that we're back from holiday travel.
  • Weight: 132

Lost/gained since last week: -3 lbs

Total weight loss: -48 lbs since DD was born

Wins/positives: Didn't snack as much and drank more water!

Challenges: Not snacking as much when DH isn't home.  I do really well when he's home at not eating out of boredom.  DH had all last week off so I wasn't snacking as much.

Tips/tricks/ideas/anything else: Being consistent has always worked for me, but it's not always that easy.  So I try to at least get some kind of workout in while DD naps, whether that be some squats, lunges, or ab workout...at least its something.
