I had my 24 week OB check up yesterday. Everything looked good. I was shocked at How much weight I've gained in just a month! It's just not normal to be happy about weight gain but I guess that means my baby girl is growing. However, they didn't schedule a glucose screening test. I don't go back for another four weeks for my 28 week check up. Is this normal? I thought the test was done between 24 and 28 weeks. Has anyone else had theirs done or at least scheduled. I should have asked him but completely forgot about it due to a bunch of other concerns I had. Just curious if it's normal to have it done after 28 weeks.

I took the three hour a few days later and I failed again--but not terribly elevated. Officially diagnosed GD. I'm picking up my monitor tomorrow and go for training on Tuesday. They are giving me a referral for a nutritionalist--although I think a lot is common sense. Up your greens and proteins. Limited your carbs--complex when you can. Natural carbs are better. I'm just a little disappointed with myself.
I am dreading trying to retake the 3 hour tomorrow
