I have to say that I'm not in the least bit sad to bid 2014 farewell. Even though there was a lot of great times, my family also struggled a lot. When I think about 2014, I think about Emmett's hospital stay and his health concerns. I'm hoping with this new asthma diagnosis and medicine, 2015 won't be quite as stressful health wise. DH and I have also been struggling a lot this last year. We have never fought like we have been lastly. Here's to hoping 2015 sees us come together as a more united team!
2014 was pretty good to us. Ups and downs with my extended family but overall the universe was good to my little family. I guess what stands out are V and E learning to walk, their first birthday party, visiting my grandmother in FL and having her meet the girls, the death from cancer of my cousin, redecorating our living room, Little Gym classes, and binge-watching Orange is the New Black.
Happy new year! I hope Emmett has a healthy 2015 and that you and your H get back on track.
I'm happy to be looking forward. J was definitely the shining light in a crappy year. We saw more infertility and DHs anxiety hit an all time high recently.. I'm hopeful that 2015 is much better.
@kelseyhh - I hope E's health continues to improve and that things with DH improve. So many stressors can make even the strongest couple weak.
To everyone else who had a rough year - I wish you the best for 2015... Whatever that looks like for you!

2014 was a great year overall:
*It brought me DS and the completion of my family (that's the plan at least ). *Watching DD grow and learn has been amazing. *My sister got engaged on Christmas Day! SO happy and excited for her and future BIL!
The negatives were the relocation of my best friend to SC and my mother's further deteriorating health, which continues into 2015 with the heart attack she suffered early this morning.
@CNJ4EVA I'm so sorry about your mom. How is she doing?
2014 was ok except for miscarriage and all the d&c drama. I'm hoping 2015 bring us our 3rd LO, completing our family like we always planned. We shall see....
By far the best thing about 2014 was watching LO grow and develop. That has been just amazing. Everything else I'll be happy to leave behind. This wasn't a great year for me work-wise and DH has had a lot if issues trying to find a job/career path that satisfies him. And he has been incredibly cranky/stressed as a result. And it has affected our relationship. Like there's nothing really wrong between us but he's always in a bad mood, feeling bad about himself, etc that it has taken its toll on me and us. We have talked about it and hopefully we can leave that stuff behind in 2015.
I am not sad to see 2014 end although DS had a good year and we all were in good health. But I hope for improved health of my mom and uncle. And financially it sucked.
I am ridiculously excited for 2015. There are many things I am looking forward to!

My H and I were just discussing how happy we are to say goodbye to 2014. There were a lot of stresses related to H's job, finances, awaiting a transfer (which we still are), etc. C was the highlight of our year. I'm looking forward to 2015, our new baby, finally moving and settling in again!
I hope 2015 is a healthy, prosperous year for all you mamas and your families!
I am also happy to be walking away from 2014. Overall it was a tough year for my marriage mostly due to job and (in-law) family related stress. We also had many blessings too and for that I am thankful but I am looking forward to a new year and a new start.
