Mine is a nickname that my Mum gave me many years ago. She always calsl me Jenny Benny or Jenny Benny Boo. I use 3's for e's because more and more websites demand number and letter combos and I struggle to remember screen names.
Mine is my nick name (shorter version of my name) plus my maiden name initial. And 12 is the year we got married.
Somehow I must have created this account a while ago, because when i tried to create one recently it said I was already registered. And this screen name popped up. I couldn't figure out how to change it, I only mobile Bump. Otherwise I think i would have been more creative.
If you go into the knot website, you can change your screen name on there
WHAT?!? I know, you guys could never have figured that out on your own, right?
Once in Love With Amy is a song from a 1948 musical called 'Where's Charley?'. It was originally sung by Ray Bolger (aka, the Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz), but Dean Martian, Frank Sinatra and Barry Manilow all have done covers too.
My grandfather used to sing it to me when I was a little girl. He passed when I was about 4 or 5, so I don't remember too much about him, but I do remember him singing to me.
I wanted to retire my old Knot screen name, and when it was time to come up with a new one, I just happen to have a picture of my grandfather in front of me. So OnceInLoveWithAmy it was
...always in love, with Amy.
ever and ever, sweetly you'll romance her
trouble is the answer will be... ha ha ha.
That Amy'd rather stay in love with me.
Edit: I just found out that today would have been my grandfathers 100th birthday!

Sureeeee, when I posted this a few months ago I was a total creeper. Now everyone's all into it. I see how it is!!
Shmee is my nickname given by my older brother and sister, they've called me that nearly my whole life. ll actually stands for 11, which is the month I was born then 25 is my birth date.
I don't remember this thread, but I think I would have cared a lot less about people's screen names a couple of months ago than I do now, so if people weren't into it then I'm sure that's the reason!
@OnceInLoveWithAmy that is such a sweet story! My grandpa used to sing a song to me in Gaelic and I have no idea what it was. I've been (slowly) learning Irish to try and figure it out. So far I've figured out it has something to do with a little bird. Today would have been his 98th birthday
I guess I'll add my story. I have two bunnies and the first I got I named Obi. He is my little fur baby and just the absolute sweetest thing in the world. Plus the word mom...
IT'S A BOY! C.G.M. Due 5/25/2015 Likely to arrive via induction or c-sec 1-2 weeks early
Mine is a change from my old SN. It's a Tori Amos song about a woman telling her lost child about her life and not to judge her because she's a 'playboy mommy'--had many lovers, was not a goody-two-shoes, etc. I feel like a playboy mommy since I'm a burlesque dancer and sort of not your typical June Cleaver type of mom, plus I love Playboy history, so it fit. It so happens I had a loss after choosing this screen name, so I guess it's even more fitting now.
Ok, I finally got through reading so I can post, lol. This is a great thread, I love it.
I wish pretty much anytime I have to make up a sn that I was more creative. I thought I successfully changed it before but it never showed up. So, mine is my first initial, last name, and my favorite number. It's my birth date, one sisters birthdate, and the date of my parents wedding anniversary. My other sister is the most dramatic out of all of us and I joke that she was born on the 19th to make more of an entrance.
Mine is very boring. My first name is Laura and my middle name is Nicole. I was born in '91.
My SIL and I have the same name (now that I'm married to her brother and we share the same last name) so we basically tack on our middle names to differentiate either other at family get togethers so I guess that was on my mind when I made my screen name.

I am not creative at all, my original screen name was my first initial and my last name, Internet security and all I changed it. Everything I could think of was taken, LA Kings Fan was not and since my picture is me with Lord Stanley I figured it was easy to read. I want to change it to something clever but I am not clever either.
I teach music in an elementary school. My youngest students seem to have a tough time saying my full name, so I am sometimes referred to as, "music girl" or "song teacher" when I see the kindergarteners in the hall. My birthday is June 30th.

@rivers714 that's my birthday too!

I love reading about other people's screen names. Mine is really boring. It's my email which I made as a kind of silly romantic minded teenager. The idea of "night dreaming" as opposed to day dreaming. It was supposed to have something to do with writing I think.
Nutter is my last name. My husband was in the military (so everyone refers to one another by last name) and to his friends I never had a name; I was "Nutter's wife."
In college people called me Miss Jennie Bean, Bean comes from something about a college legend and it went well with my first name. People just added Miss to it. haha
