Pregnant after a Loss

Night time leg cramps

For the past two nights I've been experiencing leg cramping that hurt like a total bitch!!! I consulted Dr. Google and one of the causes may be due to pregnancy :-S anyone else experiencing this?

I scared the hell out of my husband too for screaming the first night...

Re: Night time leg cramps

  • More water and bananas are helpful.

If you like old wives tales, place a bar of soap under your sheets by your feet. Google it. Hey if it works. :)

    Hope it passes quickly.

  • I get them too. I haven't had any of the wake up telling on the MOTN yet, but I'm sure they're coming. Like pps said, water and bananas help. Maybe try some stretching exercises in the evening too.

  • Lurking*
In pregnancy it can often be from hypocalcemia instead of hypokalemia so try some calcium chew tabs!

  • I got a free sample of something called leg cramp lotion. I haven't tried it but just wanted to throw out there that it exists if none of the other suggestions works.
  • I get them to and water dose help and sometimes a warm shower dose to
  • I got them every night with DS and they just started again last night! If you flex your foot back right when it starts to cramp it'll go away much faster and won't hurt as bad. I hate that they wake me up at night!
