Making baby food

My LO is only 3 mths but is showing a lot of interest in foods....she has only been allowed the lick some grapes so far, but here's my question... For those of you who make your own baby food what do you use? Is it worth getting an expensive gadget or can we just as easily make it with a stove and regular old blender?

thanks, but im not actually letting her eat foods, (just a grape -lick!) but want to prepare for making baby food

I just invested in a food processor. I have a ninja blender and it just wasn't cutting it, it wasn't pureeing the food enough. Just my opinion.

don't waste money on the baby food processors. not worth it they are expensive small and don't work very well. I just use our regular food processor.
all u need is a pot to steam in and a regular processor. i use ice cube trays to freeze approx 1 ounce cubes. You may want to try that as well.

I love my baby food maker. It steams & purées in one container & takes 20-30 minutes top! Dishwasher safe and I get 20 oz of baby food per batch.
