I've been in the hospital since Sat with severe back pain. I have a bulging herniated disk and 2 disks which show signs of arthritis. I'm 31 years old. What the actual fuck?! This blows and I can barely move but in finally home.

I'm sorry.  I'm 28 and have severe cervical kyphosis and am staring down spinal fusion in the near-ish future.  It sucks.

@nochill‌ - for now PT and pain pills. If I keep having these episodes, we will discuss surgery.

Ugh. How awful. I'm only 28 and found out after my DS1 was born that i have 2 bulging discs (down low be a my si joints...which explains all of the Si joint issues I had after I delivered DS1). They luckily dont hurt constantly, but if I twist/move the wrong way and injure my back, those discs will herniate even more, causing a shitload of pain for a few days. Such a PITA.

Ugh, back pain is the worst. I'm in PT for a car accident from a year ago and I definitely have more pain when I don't go often, so hopefully that will help you too. Have you thought about a chiro consult?
