I hadn't shaved anything but my pits in well over a month. Last night I promised my husband I would shave, and an hour later I told him he would have to shave me again because its not happening anymore this pregnancy! I can still get to the legs but the whole bikini area is out of question from here on out. But I really dont want to be a hairy beast in the delivery room

I may have to venture out and do some serious research on other local estheticians. Or maybe I'll just stay hairy. It's funny that I have such a fear of botched waxing. I've seen the results from it though and I want nothing to do with it!
Although I totally get the wanting to be hairless thing, I prefer to have absolutely no hair from the nose down. I come from a very hairy line of women so the day I was allowed to start shaving I'm convinced the sky opened up and there were angels singing and shit. So knowing that I won't bs able to shave at some point just made me come up with a plan that H thankfully is going along with. I'm going to get a mirror and when that stops working my electric razor is going to be back in action and H said he would help if needed.

I do think a good trim with an electric bikini trimmer will be in order before delivery though... When you bleed and that blood gets all in your pubes... That's annoying.
However, in my non-professional opinion, waxing is more painful when pregnant. The blood flow and swelling makes the area more sensitive. I don't know if that makes it more likely to have a reaction or not, but it's something to keep in mind. I don't know if I would go for my first time when I was pregnant, but I defer to K&T on this one.
I always vow to keep up with waxing but already just way too ouch.
Im sure the doctors and nurses could care less but I would like to be as happy and comfortable as possible for as long as possible lol
Also a c section isn't really done through your stomach. It is your pubic region, low enough that almost all women grow pubic hair at the incision. There are some countries where vertical incisions "through the stomach" are more common but they are hardly ever done in North America or Europe.
