Final and sadly not a good update!

I was passing more strange looking tissue and they said to come in this morning.    I knew it was not going to be good news and it wasn't.....Uterus was completely empty and I had a natural miscarriage.

With this pregnancy I had PGD plus PGS testing which is supposed to eliminate all chromosonally abnormal embryos.   They were all good and I have 9 left on ice.   I just don't understand what is happening......I get pregnant (4 times) and baby stops growing and I miscarry at approx 7 weeks.    I want a full explanation (if they have one) as to what is happening........I seriously don't know what to do next.    I am crushed.  By the way I am under the care of one of the top RE's in NJ.  Go figure.....

    FET scheduled for July 8. Delayed due to a crazy high TSH (it had been under control for YEARS!)

    June-July 2012=IVF#2- MDL+ICSI&AH, 8R,4M,3F (BFP 9dp3dt) Beta#1 at 11dp3dt=36, Beta#2 at 15dp3dt=156, Beta#3 at 19dp3dt=671, dx'd with SCH, no growth-m/c at 7wks/Lap Dec 2012 to remove small fibroid.

    Feb 2013=IVF#3-MDL, 2/1=baseline, started 10 units mdl, AFC-7, 2/3 start gonal f, self cxld cycle b/c of low e2.

    April 2013=IVF#3.5-(with new RE)AG/ANT Conv + ICSI. 4/10-4/23 bcp's, 4/20-4/27 lupron, 4/28-ganirelix until end of stimming, 5/2-600 gonal f, 5/4-add 1/2 vial menopur, 5/13-ER (9R,1M,1F), 5/17-ET, 1 beautiful 8 cell (please be my sticky baby!!!!) 5/28-BFFN.

    Oct 2013=IVF#4-LLP+ICSI &AH, 10/14 (6R, 2M, 2F), 10/17-ET, 1 seven cell & a six cell, BFP at 9dp3dt, 1st beta=56, 2nd beta=52, CP.

    Jan 2014=IVF #5-LLP, Cxld after 6 days of stims due to fast response and lead follicle. 

    March 2014=IVF 5.5-LLP, Lupron 3/10, BL 3/18, 11 days of stims, Trigger 3/29, ER 3/31. 7R, 2M, 2F. ET 4/3. Txfd one 5 cell & one 9 cell. BFP on hpt from 7dp3dt & on. Praise be to God. Beta #1 at 11dp3dt=106, #2 at 13dp3dt=239. First u/s 4/28, measuring on track & heartbeat seen. 5/5-2nd u/s, measuring on track with strong heartbeat. 5/12- 3rd u/s & released from RE. Grow baby grow, we love you! Baby G&T is a BOY! Born 12/2014 via c/s! 8lbs, 8oz & 21 inches.

    I'm so sorry for your loss. We also did pgd and my re explained that while they can make sure the embryos are chromosomally normal, they can't control the "power house" that fuels the embryo to grow. I hope you can get more answers soon and I'm glad you have 9 good looking frosties. Hugs.

    I'm so, so sorry. I was so hoping this would turn out ok.....

    Have you looked into immune issues? I forget when they can do RPL testing, but I would ask your RE about that immediately to see what the timeframe is. T&PS for you to get some answers and to bring one of your snow babies home ❤

    ((Hugs)) I've miscarried somewhere between two and three normal embryos, too. PGD isn't a guarantee. I'm so sorry for your loss.

    I am so sorry for your loss! I have had 5 losses myself all by 6 weeks and only had an answer for one of them - it was ectopic. It is so hard not knowing why it happened or what will hopefully help in the future. There is nothing anybody can say or do that makes it better. My OB ran RPL testing after my 2nd loss and everything came back normal. It totally sucks. I truly hope the next one is the one is the one. Sending a big hug!

    So sorry for the news! I'd ask for RPL testing. My RE ran testing just because I had failed ivf with great embryos. Turned out I was positive. Now on lovenox and with intralipid infusions earlier this cycle worked. Maybe coincidence but I don't care. You sound like the perfect candidate for testing. Good luck!

    IVF #1 never made it to transfer
    On "egg health" cocktail DHEA/CoQ10/FRC/Pregnitude/Melatonin
    Starting IVF #2 for Feb 2013
    Follistim/Menopur/Ganirelix
    Cancelled mid-cycle due to high P4 levels early on.
    OCPs again for IVF 2.5 mid-March. IVF 2.5 transferred two "gorgeous" 5-day blasts and BFFN. Even REI is baffled
    On indefinite hold until a huge stroke of serendipity led me to IVF 3 May 2014
    Testing found positive cardiolipins/APS, now on lovenox and intralipid infusions
    Transfer of 2 5-day blasts and (FINALLY) BFFP!! 1st ultrasound shows two sacs and two HB, but one is sluggish, almost expecting vanishing twin Subsequent ultrasound confirmed vanishing twin, but my other Little critter looks fantastic!

    So sorry for your loss :(I know that waiting game was terrible too. I had the same thing with my first loss. I knew what was happening but they kept making me wait. Take care of yourself now that you have a definitive answer <3

    *Male Factor (low count and low motility), High Prolactin, and Polycystic Ovaries (March 2013)
    *Recurrent Miscarriage testing also revealed high anti-phospholipids & single MTHFR mutation. (Feb 2014) 

    *IVF (07/2013): BFP-Natural Miscarriage @ 5 weeks* <3 Madison Riley <3
    *FET #1 (10/2013): BFN
    *FET #2 (12/2013)- BFP-Missed Miscarriage at 8 weeks <3 Kyle Andrew <3
    *Chromosomes and Karotyping tests were both normal.We lost a healthy baby boy :(
    *FET #3 (04/2014) was cancelled after finding Chronic Endometritis
    *Miraculous BFP July 2014!! (I was taking baby aspirin and Cabergoline to stay regulated while "taking a break from TTC" and waiting to consult with a reproductive immunologist!!!) 

    Our healthy baby girl was born 03/10/15 thanks to daily Lovenox injections and baby aspirin. There are no words for how grateful I am for our rainbow baby. <3

    I'm so sorry, it sounds like we have a similar history and I am also from NJ and saw top rated RE's and there was no definitive answer, just that my eggs "ran out of steam". It's so frustrating and I'm so sorry you have to go through this. Hugs, only good thoughts, and prayers for you.

    DH- 29, low count due to a chromosomal abnormality, only option is IVF/ICSI with PGD.

    Married 5/13

    TTC since 8/13

    IVF/ICSI #1 ER 9/14 - 14R, 6M, 6F, 5 blasts off to PGD- 1 normal female, 2 balanced males

    FET 12/8 of 2 frosties - 1 male/1 female - stick babies stick!

    I'd definitely try to check your immune system and if you did a FET, see if your progesterone levels were adequate? I know that progesterone is very important with FETs. I hope you get answers and your rainbow baby!
