What are your NYE plans?

We usually do a family get-together on NYE. However, this year my sister is hosting at her small store. I am still indecisive about going, since DS2 may not be comfortable sleeping in a stroller. What are your plans?

I'm taking DS to my parents to stay for a couple of nights Wednesday and keeping DD since she is a mama's girl and freaks everytime she is away from me for an extended amount of time. So we will most likely spend our night lounging around and going to bed early like we do every year, crazy how becoming a parent changes things.

We'll be lounging as well! I was never that into NYE... I think it's a lot of hype for a 10 second ball drop lol! I'm sure i'll be asleep by midnight and I would hope DD will be asleep by midnight haha!

We are having a party at our place and baby girl is going to MILs for the night. It will be our first night baby-less.

Our friends are having a party New Year's Day for the FSU vs Oregon game, so we are keeping NYE low key.

Going over to celebrate with the neighbors. Between us, we have five kids ages five and under so I'm sure the "party" will be over by 9pm...

Keeping low key and staying at home.  Hubby and I are going to the cotton bowl early New Years Morning to cheer for our Bears.

We'll be home for NYE, but are going up to my parent's cabin on NYD for the weekend.

We usually all go to DH's grandparents house. But grandpa is in the hospital right now...and he's been really disoriented and confused. We're afraid that 50 people in one home may be too much for him (assuming he's back home). So plans are up in the air as of right now.

Neighbors are having a pig roast in the back yard.  BYOB    Should be fun, plan on being home for baby's bedtime!  Ball drop, schmall drop....

Probably be super tired by 11pm and go to bed, then after midnight get pissed off at all the neighbor kids setting off fireworks till 3am.

NYE is always my favorite night of the year. We always go out, dress to the nines and do it big with friends. This year we don't have anyone to watch LO for late that evening, and I'm actually more bummed about it that I should be. I think we will just go over to SIL's house. She's having DH's fam and a few friends over who all have kids. I think I just need a fun night out so that's why I'm letting the holiday get me down. We're the only one of our friends that don't get to go out this year since we are the only ones with a LO so far.

Not a thing. Cooking dinner at home and snuggling up on the couch after DD goes down for the night. Maaaybe have a glass of champagne but I doubt I will make it til midnight. Last year I fell asleep in a recliner at my inlaws friends house at like 9:30 pm. I'm pretty sure it's been a few years since I've actually seen midnight...

It's my husbands birthday so we stay home have a few people over and eat everything in sight.

Leftover tacos and maybe a Redbox movie with hubs, since my niece got us a movie date night bucket with popcorn and candy for Christmas.  I'll try to make it to midnight, but doubt I will.  I'll probably be up BFing around then, though.

I have no plans, but I do plan on picking up a bottle of Moscato or Asti to drink on after I nurse DD to sleep.  I might go over to my parents house just to have company and love on the cat that adopted them.

It ended up not being that bad. . I was just being a party pooper about the evening. I think I need a vacation to fix my negative attitude of late
