Milk and runny nose...

My sister avoids giving her kids milk when they have a runny nose. I did some Google research, and it says there is no link between increased phlegm and milk, but I'm curious if any STM have seen a difference. Layla's nose is running like a faucet and I bought some almond milk, but I don't know if it is even worth a shot. Any anecdotal evidence ladies?

Fairly certain it's an old wives tail...my mom never let me have dairy if I had a cold. I still haven't forgiven her for all those times I JUST. WANTED. ICE CREAM.

A's nose runs like a faucet every day of his life and he has not had any WCM. He has yogurt, cheese, or a little butter a couple times a week.

Well it looks like I have a half gallon of Almond milk to find something to do with. Thanks ladies, I had never noticed a difference in myself drinking milk either, I was just hoping I could find something to help.
