Curious if your LO's still nurse or have a bottle before being put down for the night? DD still has a 6oz bottle of BM before being put down but I'm starting to wonder at what point we stop that.
Yes she gets a 6 oz bottle before bed. Pedi said to try to wean that shortly after 1st birthday. Not sure how we will do that yet but I'm sure we will figure something out.

Absolutely. I don't plan to stop the night time bottle or morning bottle for quite some time, although she might drop it on her own. She insists on walking around and playing while drinking and she seems less and less interested in it.
I nurse DD, brush her teeth and then lay her down to bed. She also nurses 2 times during the night, upon waking up and 3 other times throughout the day. I do hope to eliminate the MOTN feedings, but not the morning, day or evening ones.
Oh yep nurses to sleep for both naps & bedtime. Guilty of all the bad habits!!! Part of me wants to wean her now - (she turned 1 last tues) and part of me doesn't. No idea where to start tho!
Bottle with him in his crib and he falls asleep. Really not worried about giving up the bottle, but I'm sure we'll switch it out for a soppy cup in the new few months. My dd (2.5) still has a sippy of milk on her bed stand for before bed or if she wakes up. Works for us.
We do a bottle, a couple of books and rocking before bed. I have no plans of giving it up. He has made the switch to WCM (and sippy cups during the day). That being said, if he is sick or super cranky I offer a bottle instead of cup and it helps a lot!
Same as PPs, bottle for bed and naps when she isn't at daycare. Her ped said it's absolutely fine and we can talk about phasing after 1 sometime. Probably one we switch to WCM and sippy cups.
Same as others: bottle of formula before bed, along with books, bath, and snuggles. No plans to give this up any time soon. And she is still on formula, no WCM yet. Working on introducing the sippy cup at dinner and on the weekends (not at daycare yet).
We tried switching to a sippy cup of WCM during story time before bed. He was having NONE of it. So right now we are switching to WCM and we will wean off the night bottle later.
J just started sleeping through the night last month. He can keep his before bed bottle/boob sesh until he's 18, I think that's how long I'll need to catch up on sleep and don't want to do anything to disturb this pattern.

I was wondering the same thing. DS turns 1 next Monday. We are transitioning him to WCM next week from formula. I think once we completely switch him over to WCM I will wean away from bottles and lastly get rid of nighttime bottle last. We still do 6oz. Right before bed. Once we wean away from bottles I might still do a night time snack before bed. Like milk and crackers or something. We will see how DS does.
