Pregnant after 35

42 and nearly half way! New here.

edited December 2014 in Pregnant after 35
This is my first time posting here. I have not felt confident enough to post until now. This is my 11th pg, and after too many m/c's i felt a little gun shy about posting before now. I am 20 weeks tomorrow. I am feeling lots of movement so I have a lot more confidence that we might end up with a baby in May. My youngest is 5 and we were done 5 years ago. This baby came as a complete surprise. A surprise but definitely a blessing. It has been a rocky road to get to this point. I was diagnosed with HG and just got off the zofran pump. I lost 21 lbs. I am now managing the m/s with pills as needed. My progesterone was low in the beginning and I was told I would most likely m/c. Then I was told due to my age I would most likely m/c. Then I started bleeding at around 9 weeks and thought for sure it was the end. Turns out I had a SH. I have had frequent monitoring and u/s due to my history and the SH. We did the harmony test and my results were low risk for all of what it tested for. We have our anatomy scan on tues. So much to my surprise, and relief, we are still here. And still expecting a baby in May. It's beginning to look like we might actually make it that far! My dh is very happy, and my kids are all over the moon about our little miracle. I am hoping that after the last 20 weeks the next 20 will not be as hard. I will be 43 when the baby is born.
