MIL gifted A sight word and add/subtract flash cards. Then told us we need to start using them now if we want to get him into a good school. Then opened the box and started instructing H on how to use them. Umm ok?

DH gave me a pair of footed pj's. You know, the fleece kind with a zipper that our kids wear? I looked at him like WTH when I opened it. He said I'm always cold at night. BUT pregnant = many pee trips MOTN. Can you imagine trying to get out of them to pee when you are half asleep? )

I asked my brother for slippers with a solid sole as WFH means I rarely wear shoes anymore....he bought me soft sole ballet slippers, two sizes too small and a costume necklace that is truly hideous!

I'll respond after MIL's on Monday. She has purchased two outfits and a game. I'm prepared to hate it all. There better be gift receipts.

I liked the little things I got from bf this year.... but I know for a fact he bought them all at the kitchen store on Christmas Eve. And he bought me a hazelnut chocolate bar, knowing I hate nuts. And then he ate it all.

I got a salt and pepper shaker from old friends that ended up taking Ex-H's side when the divorce happened. They know me very well, they also know I have 3 sets of salt and pepper shakers since they helped me pack all my shit....

I think you mean we CAN be friends. You should love having a friend who gives you the chocolate she doesn't like

My mom gifted me with pajamas that still have the security sensor on them. They are from a store in Texas. I live in CA. There's no way she didn't see the tag when she wrapped them.

Umm my mother gave me control top pantyhose and exercise bands...normally she does good so I'm trying to inderstand the message here.

This isn't the worst; but more awkward that we got regifted my parents crockpot that my dad had told me they were going to give to my brother and SIL....

I have nothing. My ILs got me a new washer. DH got several things he asked for. And everyone stuck to DD's list for the most part (so far).

That said, we still haven't gotten anything from my family. I will be getting it from my aunt this weekend when I go there, so we shall see!

You can use any gift card (from any store or restaurant) at Walmart for almost full value

Maybe I'm out of the loop, but why do you avoid organic food? I understand not going out oft our way to get it, but why avoid?
