This is a thread posted daily for any of us who need to get out our frustrations about waiting to O, the 2WW, or vent about our cycles.

If you find yourself checking FF obsessively, MF is getting the best of you, or you just want to pee on all things, let it out here! In order for the conductors to be better able to help you, please make sure you either have a FF chart link in your sig, or make sure you post a link.

Don't chart? You should consider it, not only will it give you a lot more insight to your cycles, but conductors will be able to answer a lot of your questions just by looking at your chart!

I'm so frustrated with my CBFM. My OPK was nearly positive yesterday so I was anticipating a peak this morning but instead I only got a high reading. I think I'll stick to what the OPKs are telling me because the CBFM apparently doesn't pick up my surge the same way an OPK does.

I'm sorry the CBFM is frustrating you Doesn't it take a few cycles to get to know you?

Good luck! Just remember that 10 dpo is very early to test.

So DH and I are sick...
And I know it may or may not still be early but I just couldn't help myself and had to POAS...BFN...That was the last one in the house so I'll have to wait till I'm feeling better to go get more. Last Pg I didn't get a positive until 17DPO!

Signs/symptoms: yeah...no.

Explain the crazy: SO decided that we were NTNP which upset me a little (not because he doesn't want to try, but because he told me he wanted to try, now his reasoning is "I don't want it to happen right away" WELL SIR! Then we probably shouldn't try and you probably shouldn't tell me that you want to try!) but I told him that I was still going to track my cycles that way: 1) I know when I'm late
2) when we do start actively trying I'll have a head start.

So that bbt thermometer that I bought will now rot in the window

Crazy level from 1-10: 6 CD/DPO: CD11 Can I just ______ already?!: predict ovulation! Signs/Symptoms: my body seems to be gearing up to O on the early end for me (which is great). But DH can have performance issues, so I always try to conserve sexing until I really know it counts... So I'm not sure exactly what to do. In the past 2 cycles I ovulated on CD15 and 17, but I'm getting fertile cm earlier this month. I also did accupuncture, so not positive what to expect. Explain your Crazy here: our first cycle off the bench after 5 months- definitely over analyzing the pressure is on to have great timing as we only have a few cycles before I'm back on the bench for testing to check the fibroid. Ack.

I'm sorry your H switched things

Since you are still tracking your cycles, using your BBT is a good idea. It will help give you a record of when you ovulate and what your LP length is.  Always good information to have.

Dealing with performance issues adds an entire other dimension to TTC stress and people really do not understand this if they do not go through it. You cannot plan on EOD or even once during FW.

I started using the Clearblue digital OPK (not advanced) and reminding myself that I did not need to stress if we did not have a successful BD when there was no smiley.  Watching your secondary signs is good. Remember that sperm can live several days and all it takes is once. Also, try to not let your stress get communicated to your H.

I'm joining the train todayCrazy level from 1-10: I'm a solid 8 todayCD/DPO: CD11, no O yetCan I just ______ already?!: Have my first ultrasound already (and figure out why on earth I got a positive OPK today?)Signs/Symptoms: Crampy yesterday, watery CM and + OPK today makes me think O is coming, but I never O until 9-10 days after Clomid and CD11 would be unheard of for me. Plus, I haven't even had my first monitoring ultrasound (which is tomorrow).  Explain your Crazy here:  This is supposed to be an IUI cycle with IUI tentatively planned around 1/2-1/3 based on my previous Clomid cycles and obviously depending on monitoring ultrasounds.  I have my first ultrasound tomorrow, haven't triggered, and it looks like maybe I'm surging on my own? Going to HIO to cover our bases and see what tomorrow shows...  FX for some good follies.

@pinkcamino I have trouble with my CBAD as well (although I've always attributed that to Clomid messing with my estrogen levels).  Standard OPKs seem to be more accurate for me.  Last cycle I had 5-6 days of high with totally negative OPKs, then high/positive OPK just prior to O.  This cycle I have a straight up positive OPK but CBAD only says high. Who knows?  I think I'm going to toss mine.
@linkloveszelda26 FX for you this cycle and yay for lucky $4!
@lav17 that looks positive to me but the strongest positive I ever get naturally is equal (not darker) than the control.  I think it can vary individually, how does it compare to your previous positives.
@LauraO11 that can be one of the hardest things with irregular cycles.  If we start too early MH gets worn out and things may go poorly around the critical time.  I hope it works out for you.
@mholmes92 sorry YH switched up the plan this cycle.

I think HIO is a good idea.  I'm pretty sure that you can get a false positive on an OPK while on clomid so that may be what is going on. Can you call your RE and let them know about the positive? That should warrant you coming in for a same day u/s.

Thanks ladies. Since this is our fourth go at TTC, we have it fairly down pat, but the negative in that is he knows all my fertile signs :S but we just don't discuss it really, and I let him lead the way. He says he is feeling a bit better, so we are really going to aim for EOD this week. Fingers crossed it works, as I'm pretty positive I will O by the weekend, and we are mostly on vacatoin this week. I've had him drinking tons of water, so hopefully that helps!

Thanks guys, yes it probably must be a false positive. The interesting thing is this is my 4th Clomid cycle and I've never had a false positive before. I called my RE and the nurse thought false positive and we'll see at ultrasound tomorrow.

Let me off this train! Crazy level:8. CD31/DPO14. Today, in my enthusiasm, I peed all over a HPT by accident, even on the window. Second BFN, but still no period. Can I just _____ already?: Can I just KNOW already? I'm effing sick and would love to take NyQuill and Drink on NYE if I'm not going to get a BFP.
Explain your crazy here: I can take the news, but I need two pieces of evidence, the BFN and a period, or the opposite. ETA: AF came for NYE
