I'm currently 6 weeks today according to lmp. I spotted Xmas eve and woke up to heavy period like bleeding no pain Xmas morning. Er said hcg levels are so low the urine test came back negative and blood level positive but very low, but I took a home pregnancy test today and was positive. Anyone else experience this and ended up okay?

Yup. You're probably just very early - earlier than you would be by LMP, which is very common. There can be many reasons for bleeding besides miscarriage - though that is unfortunately common. Having low hormone levels due to late implantation can mean you're more likely to bleed (decidual bleeding) around the time your period would have shown. It is definitely best to bring it up with your health care provider, however! Any bleeding needs to be mentioned to them.

Thanks! I have my follow up appt with them Tuesday and have blood work tomorrow to check hcg levels. Praying they are going up.

Fingers crossed for you. I know how nerve-wracking it can be. I hope the numbers come back having doubled fantastically.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this.

I had a similar situation ( negative urine test at the doctor's, low hcg, bleeding) with my last pregnancy and it was ectopic. My suggestion is that you request repeated betas if the doctor isn't already planning to do them.
