To any gals who took progesterone during a pregnancy, when did the doctor let you stop taking it?

I ran out at 10w and my OB said it was fine to stop, but most people seem to be around 12w.

I started weaning off at 11 weeks and was completely finished at 12 weeks. Was nervous about it but all was fine!

I phased it out at 11.5 weeks even though I was told to take it up to 13 weeks. It made me sicker

I was told 10-12 weeks. I stopped at 12.

What kind of progesterone do you mean? I am on weekly injections, for different reasons than PPs. The weekly shots aren't typically stopped until 36 weeks.

I was super nervous to stop even though doc said it was fine. We stopped at 13 weeks. We actually had no proof it would help me but it felt good to be proactive! From the replies I've read I think I should be fine! Thanks all

12 weeks, but it should depend on why you're taking it as to how long you go on it . I did ivf and I think 10-12 is the standard.

My OB told me to stop at 13 weeks. She said at that time, your baby has started making progesterone on his or her own.

i have been on prog 200 mg since i was 3wks and when i turn 16 weeks (im 14wks now) she will put me on Makena shots which i have read are kinda the same as prog pills and i will be taking that my whole pregnancy but i have had 3 miscarriages 2 stillborns and a premature baby so thats why
