I'm hoping that maybe someone out there has experienced this at some point. We found out we were Pregnant with twins at 6w 3d. We saw both heartbeats. I had some bleeding the following week and we discovered that one of the twins heartbeats was gone. So devastating. This was at 7w 3d. We went back at 8w and baby B was growing right on track and still has a HB. Baby A was exactly the same.
I haven't bled since, but my dr did see a small blood clot in my uterus and she thinks that's why I originally had the bleeding, because baby A is still in there with a perfect sac.
I might should add that I've had 3 miscarriages (one of those was twins also). I am on a letrozole/trigger cycle this time.
Has anyone lost a twin and continued on to a healthy pregnancy?
Thanks ladies! Trying to find comfort during this stressful time.

It screws with your head a bit, and at once you're not quite sure how to feel because you may be happy about the living baby but devastated about the loss of the twin. I still think "what if..." even now, and have a hard time around baby twins. I'm very sorry for your loss, and I hope everything continues well with the other baby.
Incidentally (and the fact that all surviving twins mentioned in this thread fit this pattern brought it to mind) I read some time ago, and I have no idea where it was so can't vouch for accuracy, that for reasons unknown, the surviving twin is more likely to be female than you would expect from chance. I don't recall how much more likely, but it was significant. But again, anecdotes, not data, and I don't remember where I read it.

@lacideshae51 They can't do anything with Baby A. My dr said sometimes the baby will be reabsorbed, but it doesn't look like that's the case for me. So she said I will more than likely pass it. I'm on progesterone suppositories so she thinks that's what's keeping A in there. She thinks once I stop the progesterone, I will start bleeding. I have always had missed miscarriages. My body doesn't naturally reject the babies. Always have to have a d&c.
I am so very sorry for your loss. And as you can see, it's possible that it does not impact baby B one bit, and I hope that it doesn't! (Hugs)

my ute: stalk it. stalk it real good
I will be 10 weeks tomorrow. The last two ultrasounds (weekly ultrasounds) have looked good for baby B! It is measuring right on track with a strong HB.
I've had some bright red bleeding off and on (talk ab a heart attack), but my RE says its "normal" for my situation. I'm just praying that baby A won't affect B.
Thanks again so much for your kind words!
I was shocked when I was told It's twins. Very nervous something similar will happen. Tomorow is 10 wks for me as well.
Prayers for you and your little person.
@uncgirl6885 That is horrible! So you never passed the other twin? They told me that I may and they seem to expect it. I'm sorry you went through that. Thank you for your encouragement. I may have additional questions in the future.
@Lois172000 congrats on your twins! Please don't let my post worry you. I'm sorry you've had to read it. I know how hard it is to see what others are going through and not worry that the same thing will happen to you, especially when you've already experienced a MC. I will be praying for a successful twin pregnancy for you!
Thanks everyone for the comments and support. I remind myself daily that God is in control!

Trying to stay positive, but I'm still worried. Especially since I've had some light brown spotting today. Ugh!
Baby As sac is smaller, so my dr thinks that's why I had the bright red bleeding last week. She said it may or may not come out. But not to freak out if I have any bleeding (right!).
Does anyone else have any updates?
My next US is the 22nd. I will feel better once I see them again to make sure my hitchhiker is still hanging out. Waiting game! Staying positive! But let's be real.. nervous and anxious!
My US on the 22nd is for one of the Tests offered, could be the first trimester screen. My brain is not 100% right now.
I meet with MFM on the 3rd and will have a full US and consult with them as well because of our history. 1 MC and our DD who was born with Spina Bifida and 22q.
Lots to be nervous about but we're excited just used to having to prep for bad things or not so easy things.
After that apt had the 10 wk apt Monday with just my doc.
