Baby #2 Names

Hi! So, we just found out we are expecting Baby #2, and we are in the "throwing names out there" stage. I would love some thoughts on my favorites so far. Big sister is Elliott (I know, haters gonna hate and we usually call her Ellie.

For girls, I like:
Olive
Fiona
Emmy (way too matchy with Ellie? Too nicknamey?)
Addison (NN Addie)
Blake (but two boys names for girls is a weird theme)
Pearl (DH is not on board)
Evelyn (don't love Evie as NN)

Boys:
Max as a NN (DH likes Maximus and I like Maxwell)
Lincoln
Emmett
Julian (late MIL was Julie Anne)

I like Fiona and Olive. For boys I prefer Maximillion or Maximus!

Evelyn I have never heard with the nn Evie. But then the name is pronounced Ehv-uh-lin here. To pronounce it with a E would often be given to the male pronunciation traditionally.
Fiona is nice as well.
Olive on nms but I don't object

I like Olive and Pearl and love Fiona. The others are not good. Girl suggestions: Emmeline, Emilia, Adeline/Adelina/Adelaide, Esther, Edith.

I like Maxwell and Lincoln and love Julian. I like Emmett but think it is way too matchy with Elliott. Boy suggestions: Miles, Benedict, Lucas, James.

I hate: Olive, Emmy (it's a nn), Addison (it means "son of Adam" and has no business being slapped on a girl), Blake (it is ALSO not a girl name and would be absolutely atrocious on a girl), Lincoln and Emmett.

Fiona and Pearl are lovely for a girl, Julian and Maximus are great for a boy.

Boy names on girls are a guilty pleasure of mine! I know a lot of people hate it though and I get that.

Thanks!! I think I actually like Addie more than I really like Addison.

I've heard Evie for Evelyn several times in my area. I agree that it doesn't really go!

I definitely wouldn't want to pick something DH doesn't love. Wish he appreciated how classic and pretty Pearl is!
