Traveling with CD Help please :)

Hi guys,
We are traveling to SC in a few days (for 5 days), and I was totally bummed about having to use disposables.
(I figured it would be way too much work to wash all my cloth in a foreign washer, and I wouldn't want to ruin them somehow).

Anyway, I just had a thought.
Do you think it would work if I brought a whole bunch of prefolds and some Flip covers? We usually wrap a nb MF in a prefold, and it works pretty well.
I would wash them every night, and I wouldn't be so concerned about messing up the prefolds.

How many Flips would I need? I have two, and I was going to get a few more anyway for our fitteds at night.
Would five be enough for a whole day (and night) of CDing? He only poops once a day, so I think you can reuse the Flip as long as its not poopy?

Sounds like a good plan to me. You should have enough covers. They are easy to wash in a sink if you are in a pinch and dry quickly.

Sounds like a good plan. I'd probably want at least 3 covers though. I just used mostly flats and prefolds with covers for our vacation. It was easy. I did still use our fitteds at night though. I had 4 covers with me. I kept one in the diaper bag for outings and the rest at the house and washed EOD.

It's pretty hard to ruin diapers in just a wash or two.

My only suggestion, would be to take your detergent with you.  Whatever use at home for the diapers, bring some of it with you to use in the machine there.

We take our CD's everywhere.  Since we are so used to CDing 24/7 anyway it's NBD.  I never see it as more work.  

On a side note we had about 6 sposies in the bottom of a drawer.  They were leftovers from who knows when?  Anyhow I was sick of them being there and I had to make room for more cloth diapers.  Since I didn't have anyone to give them to and I didn't want to throw them away I thought I would just use em up.  I put DD#3 in one.  I put her in the exersaucer so I could finish getting ready for a doctors appointment.  I went to get the girls in the car to leave.  DD#3 had the biggest poopslosion I have ever seen!  Up the back, out the legs, everywhere!  I was late getting to the appointment b/c it took me forever to clean her up.  Lesson learned.
