Sorry this is a day late. Yesterday was crazy! I had my niece yesterday and have her today. Yesterday I finished Christmas shopping and we made crafts all while I felt like poop. Today I cleaned for all the holiday festivities. Later today I'm dropping some toys off for a family that doesn't have anything. Tomorrow my in laws are coming over for lunch then we are going to my grandma's for dinner. Christmas morning we are opening presents and then going to my parents for lunch. After that we'll breath and relax for the rest of the week and weekend except for football in Sunday, haha!

I work in Fed Finance so I am doing more work than Christmas celebrating. I need to get off the internet and finish closing up shop here so I can leave at a reasonable hour and not have to work a full day tomorrow.
Christmas wise, we had to my FIL's tomorrow night, then home all day on Christmas, though both sets of my ILs want to come watch L open gifts. I don't really want to feed them, so they are getting store bought everything and kicked out at naptime.
Work has me in the Bah Humbug zone too.

Diagnosed with Severe Ashermans Hysteroscopy #10 - scar tissue grew back reblocking my right tube #11 or IVF with scarring still inside? 1 lone embryo from September 2016 retreival, dx with Trisomy 16, starting fresh
I need to finish cleaning, make some cookies, and get to the gym today. I took DS for a "run" to look at lights and decorations since its 50 degrees (holy crap). He walked/skipped and I slow jogged but it was hardly a workout.
DH cleaned Sunday while I was out with DS (❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️) but DS is a tornado and there toys everywhere right now so I need to re-clean.

Working Christmas Eve and then out to dinner. Christmas Day spent with the ILs and the day after Christmas with my family. And then back to my ILs on the 27th for my niece's bday party (why they can't do this another weekend after the craziness of the week is beyond me!) I like Christmas but it is going to be a nutty, tiring week.

Since I converted to Judaism 8 years ago, I have become painfully aware how Christmas obsessed (having nothing to do with religion) this nation is. I will be so glad when it's December 26 and things go back to normal.
.DH's mother is visiting on Friday. Although she is a far, far more interested and caring grandparent thatbI would have expected, let's just say I'm glad we live 2 or 3 time zones away. Thankfully the visit is only for a day and then she's on her way to other places and she stays in a hotel.

I love Christmas both religious and commercial. It's what you make of it!
I agree! Mostly it's the spirit of Christmas that I enjoy. The holiday cheer, the kindness and generosity people display, the happy moods, etc.
I grew up Catholic and with a strong emphasis on religion over the holidays. It was a beautiful time of year. Now the church that we associate with does not celebrate Christmas, Easter etc as religious holidays with some members participate in the spirit of it and others not. We tend to celebrate the various holidays like most people do Halloween or birthdays. Not in a commercial way but to share and enjoy with friends and family. It's fun!
