GTKY: Is there a holiday dish/dessert/food item you are most looking forward to (or dreading) this week? I'm extremely excited for my Step-mom's homemade guacamole; it is amazing. Also, my dad is serving crab legs at the Christmas Eve party :-bd

@KLB2T‌ not at all! Happy early Birthday!!!! And did I read that your step mom makes guacamole? Hands down my go to good when pregnant with DD. I believe that's where 90% of my calorie/fat intake came from with her. I'm not a big eater when it's hot so it was a life saver to help me keep weight on that summer. I'll eat all the avocados in there many forms!

Any upcoming or recent appointments? I'll go in for another ultrasound next week. FX!

Any good/bad news you'd like to share? Bad news: I'm way more bloated with this pregnancy then I've ever been! Good news: I believe my parasite is still growing.

GTKY: Is there a holiday dish/dessert/food item you are most looking forward to (or dreading) this week? Well I host ALL holidays. DH and I are the only ones who have a big enough house. Plus I'm the only one that seems to know how to cook :-q I don't normally mine, just lacking the holiday spirit the last few years.
My favorite thing that I'm making this Christmas is sausage stuffing. That and I figured we would add Mac&Cheese to the mix for DD. Carbs on carbs everywhere!!!

We're telling our parents this week. It's going to be so nice being able to talk to my mom about being pregnant.

My grandma's biscuits. So yummy. She makes them for breakfast Christmas morning every year.

If I have time today, I plan on making ninjabread men to take to my coworkers on Christmas. They love them, but I'm dreading making them cause they're a pain. At least H promised to decorate them so I won't have to do that part.

Any upcoming or recent appointments? We had our first U/S yesterday.  Heard the heart beat at 160 BPM.  It was a great day to finally see our little blob! 

 Any good/bad news you'd like to share? Bad News - I don't know what I am going to wear Christmas Eve. I am so bloated and nothing is fitting me right. It really is making me sad thinking about but I know things could be a lot worse. Good News - I am off for 6 days 5 of those days I can wear sweat pants. 

GTKY: Is there a holiday dish/dessert/food item you are most looking forward to (or dreading) this week? Very excited for my MIL Christmas cookies. They are always the best!

Not until 1/22. I wanted my appt to be farther out. Helps with stress levels. Didn't want any HCG testing or early US this go. This time I wanted to relax.

My grandmother is in hospice dying so life right now is very rough. We were VERY close. This Christmas just won't be the same without her Also, some asshole hacked our bank account for over $1k on a shopping spree. So, now I have to deal with that drama. Such a long week already.

I'm usually a healthy eater however I fully plan to pig out on Christmas. With everything going on in my life-some good old fatty foods can get me through it.

Any upcoming or recent appointments? Nope. Had my first appointment at 6 weeks, don't go back for the first ultrasound until 12 weeks. 1/20 can not get here fast enough.

Any good/bad news you'd like to share? Looking forward to telling the rest of H's family on Christmas and then telling other friends.

GTKY: Is there a holiday dish/dessert/food item you are most looking forward to (or dreading) this week? I just want some damn green bean casserole. We didn't get any at Thanksgiving so I'm not really hopeful that I'll get it for Christmas either. Apparently (read: wrongfully) it's not a holiday staple for H's family.

Any good/bad news you'd like to share? Gd news i just won 800$ at the casino, which was my first time going there!! On the down side im still having spotting, no cramps, trying to stay positive.

Dreading Turkey, I enjoy Ham much more! Some banana pudding would be lovely.

Yes! My step mom makes the best homemade guacamole from scratch, I was obsessed with it when I was pregnant with DD. Also, I'll join your DD on that mac & cheese....looove mac & cheese.

Any upcoming or recent appointments? Today was my first one - blood draw, pap smear (with a toddler on my chest -- that was interesting). Apparently I have a nice blue tinted cervix that isn't "angry" (no spotting when she poked it).

 
Any good/bad news you'd like to share? I'm really sorry about your grandmother, @CaliforniaDream87. The bank account BS really sucks, too. I'm with @LAF0926 - nothing to wear for Christmas Eve service, but at least I can wear sweats and leggings until 01/05!

GTKY: Is there a holiday dish/dessert/food item you are most looking forward to (or dreading) this week? Not this year -- usually I get excited for the Christmas Eve fondue and champagne after church.

First, @CaliforniaDream87, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I hope you and your family are together and as at peace with this as you can be. Nothing can make it easier, but I hope the time you're getting to spend with her is helping. Be good to yourself right now.

Any good/bad news you'd like to share? I'm telling my little brother in 15 minutes or so. And my little sister and sister in law find out tomorrow. AND my BFF and I found out that were three weeks apart (she's ahead; it's her 2nd). So after weeks of griping about work I get to smile. A lot.

GTKY: Is there a holiday dish/dessert/food item you are most looking forward to (or dreading) this week? HOMEMADE CINNAMON BUNS. It's my end of the Christmas traditions. It takes a ton of time and 6 sticks of butter, but it's going to be worth it. *nom*

I'm 8 weeks today, so that raspberry week.

I've been so lucky to have limited symptoms. The exhausting had upped it's game the last few days though.

Last Thursday we had our first ultrasound and go to see and hear the heartbeat. Because I wad scheduled later than my RE normally does for first ultrasound I get to go back the day after Christmas for another. I could have pushed it out a littl, but since I have the off work I went ahead and scheduled then. I'll be interested to see the growth difference in a week.

As for food I'm really looking forward to the peanut butter balls I'm making and the green bean casserole my cousin is making since she's making two so one will be gluten free for me!
