The husbandman is in the military (Navy) and on shore duty, so his office is pretty laid back and encourages the guys to go to all the baby appointments since there's no guarantee they will be here for the next one. So he goes with me to everything (:
DH went with me to monthly appointments in the beginning but since switching to biweekly, he's been busy and that's ok. I start going weekly now and he'll be coming along again.
My husband has gone to every single appointment. My parents came to the very first one. Closest two friends to my anatomy scan. I always call my mom and give her update asap.
DH came to every appointment for DS. Now that I have a 2 year old, I do everything in my power to go to my appointment alone and DH stays home with DS.

Our first and possibly only baby so DH goes to every one. He loves going and meeting with our midwife and hearing the heartbeat and keeps me from forgetting things. We've also made it special by making it a date night after each appointment since we always go in the evening after DH gets off of work. I think it's nice that he's so involved since it can feel like I'm doing everything.
I bring my 11 month old with me to my appointments unless i have someone to watch her. DH only goes to ultrasound appointments, of which I had several early on due to a SCH.
Re: How do you go to your dr appointments?
I go alone to routine checkups. Hubby comes to ultrasounds.
