American horror story coven is on netflix so I started watching it.

One of the witches is named Cordelia. I liked it before the show but now I'm really feeling it.

It's even better because her mother calls her Delia which I think is cute.

What do you think?

I really like Cordelia. DH doesn't haha. Delia is adorable and a much cuter nn than Cordy, which is what I've always heard. Beautiful name.

I just can't get behind it. The -elia sound flowery but I find the Cord part unattractive, so it confuses me.

I love, love, love this name.

To me there will always be only one Cordelia, and that's the daughter of King Lear.  Any other characters are just copying the original.

I like it. The nn Delia is fine, but it always makes me think of that popular clothing store from the 90s. (Anyone else every get those Delia's catalogues?)

Ophelia is definitely my favorite Shakespearean name.

I like it a lot. I like the Shakespeare reference and the Buffy/Angel reference. I am not 100% sure I would use it but I really like it. I like Delia as a nickname a lot.
