Love a Sunday night when I don't have to work in the morning!!! I'm so glad to be on holidays!! Meeting a friend I used to work with tomorrow for coffee, then cleaning, cleaning, cleaning....ugh, some days I wonder why I bother!!!

I was m.i.a this weekend. I will have to catch up tomorrow.

We had a Christmas on Saturday and today was cleaning and rearranging toys.

Also..!!! If you remember back in September I had asked for ts&ps for my best friend because she was about 26 weeks pregnant and contracting...well after many hospital stays and a lot of issues..baby girl came Sunday December 21st...only 4 days early!

Best friend was induced because she had almost passed out at work Saturday and her kidneys were giving her troubles..but none of us thought she would make it this far.

Baby girl was a healthy 7lbs 14oz 21 inches long and doing great!

I am so happy for my friend. I know she was so worried. Her first born came 6 weeks early and wasn't breathing when he was born..so I am thrilled she didn't have to go through anything horrible this time.

Good morning! Only three more days of work till Christmas, then I can focus on getting ready for Christmas! Oh wait :-w

I spent Saturday baking 10 dz cookies, but they're all going to work with me. We have a work pot luck that I have nothing for (cookies are for something different). The stockings aren't hung. I wrapped 4 presents with Ben's "help" but the rest is left to be done. Hopefully I can be productive the next few evenings.

Growing up, my mom would go to bed after midnight mass on Christmas Eve and there would be no sign of Christmas. She'd wake up Christmas morning to the house completely decorated, the stockings hung and literally 100+ Wrapped presents under the tree. I can't imagine doing that.

I'm laying here wide awake. We all three have the stomach flu. DS is almost over it but me and DH are miserable. Also, I started bleeding yesterday. I'm almost 7 weeks. Saw a healthy heartbeat on Friday and will go back in today for another sono due to bleeding. Hoping everything is still ok.

I am up to exercise. However I can hear noise coming from the boy's room. Notcrying. Just noise. Now mh is coughing and the dog is sleep barking (it is the only time she barks). I don't think I will be alone much longer.

@cshum24‌ nut punch to your H. Those are not kind things. An unfolded basket of laundry and dishes are called having kids and being a mom! When DH didn't like the way I did things I told him to do them then. I now do not vacuum or clean bathrooms! I also do not pay bills due to this....my MIL supported me in this saying if you can't handle how she does it then I guess you need to do it or stop complaining! When he complains I remind him that I'd do it but he wouldn't like it. Aren't husbands special people!! :::said with a smirk::::

Addie received the Melissa and Doug wash and dry dish set with little plates, silverware, cups, a sponge & a yellow. bottle. I referred to the yellow bottle as mustard in front of H's fam. Clearly, it's dish soap - ugh blonde moment.

This time next week, we will be in route to Honolulu!!

BF took over morning duty yesterday, which got him out of bed in time to work on his grant proposal while Feli and I went to investigate how fun playgrounds are at subzero (celsius) temperatures.

Not surprisingly, after the first one, she refused to get out of her stroller bunting. Which led to us desultorily poking around two other playgrounds before I threw in the towel and took us to get hot cocoa at the local ice cream cafe. (@lizabethann06 - I'm sure it would have been a lot more fun had there been snow on the ground)

Today is operation clean up the house after being gone all weekend. One of my sisters will be staying with us for a couple days and so we need to get her room ready. Until now the guest room has been gift wrapping central but I'm mostly done! Yay!

Found out on Friday that they decided to close our office for the whole week. Our dentist was going out of town and the other two at the other office refused to cover for him. So I have the whole week off. On one hand it's great to have the next couple days to really clean the house since we all had the stomach bug this past weekend, and finish getting ready for Christmas. But on the other hand, I won't get paid for a whole week. I'm going to have to use some vacation time just to have some money, which sucks. Can't believe it's almost Christmas! I hope we are all recovered and healthy for the holiday. Happy Monday everyone!

Oh, and @cshum24 [-X those were not nice things for him to say. Has he no filter? It's one thing to be annoyed by something occasionally but a whole other ball game when he says such cruel things. He should be ashamed of himself and he should really consider how it feels to be talked down to in that way.

Received this demand from my mother this morning: "Let me know before noon today what has been bought on P's wish list.". I made an Amazon wish list so I wouldn't have to do things like this. I had also already explained to her that when she looked at the list she should only see what hasn't been purchased. Clearly she doesn't listen to what I say. I say that again and get this: "I'm in work...dad's at a meeting....no computer access.

I have the list with me as when sent on 12/1.". Great...and I'm trying to take care of your granddaughter...and things have been added since my b-day. Isn't the whole point of an online wish list for the purchaser to look at it right before purchasing? Fast-forward to me having to take pictures of the list and send them to her while, of course, d.d. is getting into everything. Then I was on my phone too long doing this, so d.d. wanted it and got upset when it went away. 10or so minutes go by and I have d.d. in her chair eating breakfast. Fire alarm goes off, scaring d.d. and making it hard for me to get her out. By the time I have the door open, alarm stops and I'm told we don't need to go out.

We had a great night's sleep last night. We all slept like logs! I am loathe to wake them (they are still out) but I have to get Abby to preschool & then storytime with Alex at the library. So The Sleep Gods forgive me, but if they aren't up by 9am I'll have to commit Baby-Sleep Sin.

The IL's wanted us to drive the three hours to them for Christmas, last minute...

I told my husband no, no way. We've planned Christmas here & this power trip shit is fucked up. So he invited them here. Ok compromise...we have a wedding to attend on the 27 so they aren't staying the weekend.

The text we got? "I hope Alex doesn't have human milk at the wedding." Geez lady, you wonder why I don't want to spend 3 days of my holiday trapped in your house? Two days of constant insults & bullshit is enough.

I'm going to take a picture of us dressed up & NIP. I might "accidentally" send it to her phone. )

We've been getting new teeth (canines oi) too. However, it's just a quiet baby that wants to cuddle or have the boob. The fuss is only when I put him down lol.
