Baby Boy Name

Hi ladies! I'm coming to Baby Names from April 15! I've read through some recent postings and love the honest feedback given! My DH and I are expecting our first which is a boy! We are not disclosing the name to family or friends until he makes his appearance! The name we are considering is Nolan James... James is coming from my grandpa who passed away 2 years ago who I was very close with. I'm looking for some honest opinions on Nolan!

I agree with Joy. I like it, we had it on our long list for DS, but I think it got popular quickly and will be associated with the 2010-2015ish time frame.

Nolan is wonderful. I named DS Nolan. However, @Joy2611‌ is correct. A year ago when I named my son I had never met another Nolan. Now I know 3 other little boys named Nolan. I fear it is climbing quickly.

But again, I love the name and it sounds great with James.

Nolan isn't necessarily a favourite of mine.

But I still think Nolan James is a good, strong name!!

It's not a favorite of mine, but it's certainly not bad.  I wouldn't side eye it or anything.
