Hey Ladies! Big (((hugs))) to anyone that needs them.
My update:
Not much going on on the TTCAL front. I have a follow-up appointment in a couple weeks with my OB to see what is happening with my cyst/fibroids. Mr. Bug and I had a totally depressing talk (which he initiated) about how we are going to grow old and be alone. It did reopen our discussion about donor eggs. Mr. Bug might get a bonus that could put that option back on the table for us but he is also worried that I could not be a gestational carrier. Next step is an appointment with an RE just to see if any of this really is an option.
@buggirl72 I am sorry that the conversation was a little depressing. I hope that the OB/RE appointments give you some clarity.
AFM: I survived the myomectomy! Apparently I am highly entertaining under the influence of pre-op "cocktails" (whatever the hell it is they give you to "relax" you before surgery). I made up words. Anyway, I'm sure you saw the details on the main page so I won't rehash, but I am very relieved to have them out. I am on the bench for 3 months (until mid March?) and will need to do an HSG at that point to make sure my tubes are open. Otherwise all tests look good so hopefully we can burn the bench in early Spring.
NTTCR: I am trying to learn how to relax (medical leave is boring). I am looking forward to being home on Christmas for the first time in 9 years. That's novel. I am looking for some good reads to keep me occupied. Suggestions are welcome

@buggirl72 ((hugs)) lady, those chats always suck. GL with the appt.
@meredithcarole glad you made it through the surgery. Sounds like you've got a great plan in place, hopefully the next 3 months fly.
AFM, not too much to report. Chugging along on BCPs in preps for IVF, baseline is Jan 2 and stims start Jan 4. Wrote the big ass check, so that stung. But that's what your savings acct is for, right?!?!

@Smootiepie Yes, that is why you have savings. Try not to think of the money. I have everything crossed that this IVF cycle works perfectly Best of luck to you!
TTCAL January Siggy Challenge: Animals in the Snow
@Smootiepie I am NOT looking forward to paying for IVF. We'll be financing it. Ugh
Nothing much with me. I had an shg on Friday, which was clear. I also then requested my records, in preparation for our 2nd opinion ivf consult on Jan 7th
4 Losses (2003, 2008, Apr 2012, & Oct 2012) All RPL and IF testing with multiple REs = normal
@meredithcarole - what do you like to read? My H and I both really enjoyed The Hundred Foot Journey. I'm currently reading World War Z and like that also. When I'm trying to find different ideas for books I like to look at the list of books being made into films. Here is a short list of some books being released as films in 2015.
@smootiepie - FX for you! It is what the money is there for. You are paying for hope and your best chance.
@Rachaeleigh - I hope your second opinion consult gives you some answers and a clearer path forward.
@HoldingOutHope - We are chugging along right there with you. I might start back with OPKs next cycle but I'm not sure. NTNP is pretty relaxing in many ways.
As for me I posted on the main board last week about needing to undergo testing after some rare atypical squamous cells were found. I had my first ultrasounds yesterday (no clue as to what they showed though- the tech wouldn't say and I had no idea what I was looking at) and have been going for bloodwork and urine tests every few days (I'm so over bloodwork already!). I'll have a scope of my uterus on the 29th and a scope of my urinary tract on the 2nd. I should get results of the ultrasounds sometime next week when my drs are in.
Of course I've had a bad upper respiratory infection this week so it's adding to me feeling generally yucky. This waiting to know is the hardest though! Thank goodness for the holidays so I have something to keep my mind occupied.
@skategirl128 I will be thinking of you this week. I hope you get the results soon and that there is good news.
@buggirl72 Thank you for the book list! I have a pretty eclectic list of past favorites, but I do shy away from anything violent for the most part (I get too stressed out reading them ).
@skategirl128 - I hate when u/s techs don't tell you anything! I hope you get over your infection quickly and that you get good results back next week.
@buggirl72 ((Hugs)) sweetie. I hate those talks. They always suck and just leave you with a nasty taste in your mouth.
@meredithcarole I am so glad your surgery went well and you are doing ok. ((Hugs)) hun, hopefully you can relax through the holidays. What kind of books do you like to read?
@smootiepie Yay for IVF, but ugh for paying for it! I am keeping my FX for you, love.
@Rachaeleigh ((Hugs)) hunny. I know this whole process has been hard on you. Hopefully your second opinion appointment will have a better plan moving forward.
@HoldingOutHope FX for you lovey!! I like when my body decides to change it up and do things right, but it also throws me for a loop. It's mostly like playing roulette, except it's with my fertile window, how bout you?
@skategirl128 ((Hugs)) love. You have been on my mind. I am keeping my FX that you get results next week.
AFM: So I am on the downhill side of the flu, and like HOH my body decided to O early. At least all signs have pointed that way. Only, it was smack dab in the middle of me having the flu, so we covered nothing. According to FF we will have O-2. So I pretty much have zero hope this cycle unless we get a Christmas/New Year/God has taken pity on my soul miracle. Oh well. Surprisingly, I am ok with that. I haven't told H yet, I will wait to confirm O with one more temp. I am proud of my body b/c it's the first time in about 6 months I had real EWCM and I O'd much earlier than normal. Like I said, roulette with my FW apparently.
NTTCR. We have to board Ripley over Christmas and I am still not happy with it. She is traveling with me up to FIL's on Christmas Eve, but I have to board her when we get there. Bleh. Also, this the first Christmas in almost 10 years that H and I will not be together. I will not see him til Christmas afternoon b/c he is going to see MIL. I refuse to touch that visit with a 10 foot pole. All my love and ((Hugs)) ladies. Sorry for the novel!!
@buggirl72 – sorry for the depressing conversations, but I’m
glad you guys are talking it out. If you
need an RE recommendation you can go to the same one @sarcaztic10 and I are
going to (that is if the RE’s office ever calls back)
@meredithcarole – I’ve said some interesting things under
the influence of pre-op cocktails too. I’m
glad this is behind you and you’re on the road to recovery. @ktlovess just recommended Outlander series
to me. If you haven’t read bookish’s
book – do that. It’s super cute. Other than that – I say watch a LOT of
Gilmore Girls on Netflix?
@smootiepie – DH and I have been saving up too so we can
make IVF work as we figure that’s
next. Sending you calming vibes.
@rachaeleigh – I’m glad the SHG was clear. The 2nd opinion will be here
before you know it.
@skategirl128 – I know it’s stressful to wait for all these
results. I hope everything is fine and
will keep watching for updates. It
really bites that you’ve added an upper RI to the mix. Go away sickness!!!!!!
@megrae12 – I’m glad you’re on the downside of the
flue. That crap needs to go away and
quick. Sorry that O didn’t cooperate
with the flu madness. Sorry you are
having to board Ripley. That’s not fun
at all. It bites that you guys won’t be
together… Are you going to stay at your FIL’s house without DH?
@ktlovess – I’m so sorry that things aren’t in a good place
with your relationship. Will you all be
able to do anything just for you over the holidays? You’ve had a bunch of crap to deal with this
year so I hope you can take some time for you.
I am glad that Higgins is doing well though.

AFM - I called the RE's office last week to try and get in with another Dr... they take at least a week to get the doc's together and sign off on my switching... yippee. So I'm hoping to hear back on an appt this week. I did have some CM this am that made me think that I may O a little earlier than normal, but we shall see.
NTTCR - DH and I celebrated our 11th anniversary on Saturday night with a nice dinner out and driving around to look at Christmas lights. His parents came in yesterday (MIL had a followup dr. appt) so we did Christmas with them. We'll leave for my parents on Wednesday morning ea-rly and stay until probably Saturday or Sunday. Then we're going to relax next week and prepare for a (hopefully) better 2015. I've been doing hot yoga and bought a 20 class pass so hopefully that will help me relax. I'm also in the running for another job (same company) and will hear something soon. it will be crazy for a while until I learn it, but I think it will be less stress (thank you Lord!).

Hi all! LTTP here. ((Hugs)) to all who need them at this very emotional time of year.
I don't have much to update. My pelvic MRI a couple of weeks ago came back all clear, which is a good thing, I guess, but still leaves us with no answers as to why I keep miscarrying. My RE is encouraging us to just keep trying with progesterone after O. DH and I are both getting mentally worn out from riding the loss rollercoaster, so we're downshifting a bit on the TTC front for the next couple of months. I will still use my fertility monitor, but we're going to try not to obsess about my FW and just try to have more fun together. We'll see how it goes.
@skategirl128 ~ That's frustrating when u/s techs won't say anything. I hope you feel better soon & get good results next week, sweetie. So many (((hugs)))!
I will say that sometimes it is good when the tech doesn't say anything. Because of ultrasound techs who spoke I was under the impression I had a lot (like 20ish) fibroids when, in reality, there were 6. Sometimes waiting for the expert is better.
@megrae12 I think in all honesty I am in the mood for lighthearted or optimistic. I hope you are feeling better. Sorry about the timing.
@ktlovess I am sorry to hear you and H are in a delicate place right now. Hopefully Higgins is providing a good distraction from everything for the both of you. The biting will get better when he's done teething. Doggy Day Care will help him, too. He can gnaw on his own kind
@MrsG80inTN Happy anniversary! Good luck with the REs. Sadly the time of year is not helping with speed I am sure.
@BookishMomma ((Hugs)) I wish there were answers for you.
@sarcaztic10 I hope that the O day turns out to have been the one with the best timing.
