Changing lab results (BFP mentioned) Updated in comments (Loss Mentioned)

I am a ball of nerves and so scared right now. I had a beta pregnancy test at my RE's office 12-17, the results were 71.7 so, definitely pregnant. My repeat beta showed my level had dropped to 63.7. I am due to repeat the test on Monday. This is the first time I have ever conceived and I'm so scared that the HcG won't increase and that I am either having an ectopic pregnancy or about to miscarry. Waiting 2 days to find out is driving me crazy and to top it all off, I'm not feeling nauseous this morning like I have been. I guess I'm just looking for support and encouragement if there is any to be had. Thank you ladies!

Sorry your levels are dropping. I hope everything will be ok and your levels continue to rise. how many days was there between the first and second beta?

Typically they want to see doubling every 24 - 48 hrs in the beginning. But I have personally seen levels fluctuate a little in some pts that went on to have healthy pregnancies. So I will keep you in my thoughts.

Thank you ladies, I just don't know what to think. It seems my nausea has gone away but I haven't had any spotting. I had a few cramps last night but they quickly went away. It is hard being so uber attentive to everything your body does! I keep praying that this pregnancy will work out but that if it doesn't that things will happen naturally and not cause any damage. Thank you for all of your kind words.

Thank you all so much for your support. I had my beta drawn this morning and it is >10, so I'm no longer pregnant. The good news (the only good news) is that we will be able to start a new IUI cycle as soon as I have a period. So I'm trying to look to the future. This was my first pregnancy and I believe I'm still in shock over this outcome. I will stop the progesterone today and have acupuncture tomorrow to try and get my cycle started. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!
