Scared of missed miscarriage

I'm 9 weeks IVF FET. A heartbeat was detected at 6.5 weeks (129bpm) after some
Bleeding. I'm now seeing my GP who specializes in babies and has a small portable ultrasound machine, however he can't really see anything on it and has ordered an ultrasound at a clinic to make sure everything is ok. I have all my symptoms still and no signs of miscarriage, but now I'm scared as our last pregnancy was a blighted ovum.

I have no experience in that at all but I just want to let you know that I'm thinking of you and have my fingers crossed.

While your feelings are understandable, I would think that since you know your baby has a heartbeat that would rule out a blighted ovum.

Also those portable ultrasound machines are great but you can't usually see much on them until closer to 12 weeks

I'm 10 weeks tomorrow with an ivf fet baby as well. My first resulted in a loss at around 7 weeks and I was devastated. Being pregnant after a loss is so hard, and being pregnant after IF seems to compound that. I don't have a lot of advice, but I can totally relate. I am constantly repeating the PGAL mantras (they are pinned at the top of the PGAL board) and talking to my little bean. Just try to remember that this pregnancy is different! Goodluck to you

Hi everybody, Thankyou so much for all of your support. It's nice to communicate with people who understand. I'm very excited to say that the baby's heart was beating at 176bpm today. I was so excited.
