NTTGPR: Off topic fun day at work *warning fake baby kidnapping mentioned*

So yesterday I had to stay late at work.  I usually get off at 8am but had to stay until noon.  Well the hospital was testing the security for the Nursery. By having a fake "Code Pink", the staff didn't know it was fake and all mommies were warned ahead of time we were doing it so they didn't get worried.  I got to pretend to be the kidnapper.  lol  I got the fake baby and put it in a big purse.  Maintenance pulled the fire alarm to cause a distraction.  When the alarm went off I walked towards the back stairs.  I didn't even make it off the floor. I am proud to say that even though I am a house supervisor they stopped me at the door and wouldn't let me pass without checking my bag. I even tried to talk them out of it by saying "guys I'm so tired I need to go home" but they were persistent :) just like they should be. So anyway just wanted to tell about my fun day :D

    Great job they did in being persistent in checking your bag. That's a damn good thing.

    I wouldn't be able to pull off being the kidnapper. I have NO poker face lol
    I am not sure how to say this without getting a "solicitation" warning so I guess I just say that I am not longer active on THIS site.

    Good job. Glad your nurses and staff all did their jobs properly.
    Maybe you can be an actor when you retire ;)

    Off Mirena Nov 2013, On Nuvaring end of Jan, Back off Sept 2014.  Never ending cycle starting end of Sept... 
    11/14 Provera failed... cycle continues 
    12/14 High FSH (57 "midcycle")  OBGYN had no clue... about anything 
    01/15 More lab results coming back from RE. U/S showed small (1")cyst on left ovary, thin lining, and couldn't locate right ovary so  possibly straight to DE and IVF 

    Occassionally mess with the chart below to see "what if" and learn (not to make it pretty but because FF stays drunk with me).

    And now I'm getting a little claustrophobic thinking about an actual baby being closed up in a purse...

    December 2014: IVF #1.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  9R, 9M, 9F.  3 5-day blasts transferred 12/15. BFFN.
    April 2015: IVF #2.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  16R, 15M, 12F. Transferred 2 5-day blasts 4/12 and froze 4--BFP!  M/C 5/25/15
    August 2015: IVF #3.  14R, 13M, 11F.  Froze 5 blasts for CCS testing.  3 normals.  FET planned for 10/2015.

    Yea I tried to make it realistic and think of what a criminal would do. They teach us in class that they may try to put it in gym bag or wrap in coat. So I was glad they remember to check purse.
