Update on us!

Hello! 

I know I haven't been around much but I try to offer support when I have a few minutes! DS1 (ASD) is doing amazingly well! He has been in ABA for a year now and the progress we have seen is incredible! We are actually going to be able to up his hours in January to the full 20 a week his psych recommended thanks to some changes in our insurance policy! He is also in the local preschool program for children with disabilities and he loves going to school. 

His big challenge is still being social with peers. DS2 is actually already better at social interactions. We have DS1 on the wait list for a private ABA inclusive preschool that has a 1:2 autistic to NT ratio. I am really really hoping when he gets into that school it will fill in that remaining piece that one on one ABA just hasn't! 

DS2 is doing wonderfully and we are expecting our first DD in the spring! I hope you are all doing well and having a lovely holiday season!
