How important is triple stripe lining?

I've been through many IVFs and lining has never been an issue. Always triple stripe and 10mm or so.

I had an us yesterday and lining is at 8 which was fine since I just started estrogen patches on 12/9 and official lining check isn't until 12/23 so it has time to thicken. However, the lining wasn't triple stripe. Does that make a huge difference? The doc said she didn't think my lining would get to triple stripe by 12/23.

TTC#1 since April 2011

IVF#2 Oct 2012
16R/6M/6F/2-8 cell grade 1 transfer

US 7w1d no more heartbeat/ D&C 11/30/12 normal karyotype
IVF#3 Mar 2013
6R/4M/4F 1 compacting and 2-8 cell transfer
ectopic pg MTX given 3 month break from TTC

IVF#4 Sept 2013--BFN

    I think a tri-laminar lining (assuming that's what you mean) is ideal but not absolutely necessary. Talk it through with your RE and see what they recommend.

    Trilaminar linings are great, but not an indicator of success. It's just a good foundation for your embie "if" implantation occurs. I have had tri-laminar linings over 10 three times during my cycling life (once during IUI, during IVF 1.2, and during my FET) none of them resulted in a viable pg.
