Awww some ladies from work surprised me at our lunch date w some gifts for baby my one friend crocheted the cutest baby hat & blanket...so happy hope everyone has a great weekend!
I put chicken breasts in the crockpot this morning to eventually make chimichangas for supper...discovered at 4 pm (even though I was home all day) that they were on "warm" not "high" so they were not cooked. Ok, grab my stuff and run out the door to pick up pizza. I will hate the heartburn but kids love pizza. I decide to stop and rent movies too. Try to get out of the car (it is DH's car)...handle is broken inside. I'm afraid to roll down the window because last time I did it took 15 min of trying to get it back up. So here I am 7 months pregnant, climbing over the center console and wishing I had let my 9 year old come with me. It was quite funny. Whew...it might be time to give in and let DH buy a different car.
@nbad311 To add to the support and commiseration everyone else has offered, I just wanted to say that I added in daily light exercise three weeks ago (when I got the GD diagnosis), and though I was looking forward to vegging (holidays! last months of pregnancy!) instead, I have to admit...
...working out every day, even just a little, has made me feel really good about my body, even as I get more and more pregnant. It gives me a tiny feeling of control right now when things are just changing so much (and will keep changing so much once the baby's born!), and honestly, I think I'm going to keep it up and use those walking/jogging times as Mom's Alone Time even postpartum.
Just sharing to say that perhaps the treadmill will do the same for you! Good luck!!
Also: apparently I pump my arms a lot when I get going, because I swear they look more defined in just three weeks (though that might be the low-carb diet too). Arms! Something that I can work on that the pregnancy doesn't necessarily add to!

@sarabeller, my BH comes with pain somewhere internal that isn't quite the vagina or the butt. Can't describe it, but it just instantly extinguished any sexiness.
@PikoPiko I get cramps/BH every time I have sex too, been that way since 20w or so. It's annoying but the Ob says it's not abnormal or a threat to the pregnancy. I find the cramps uncomfortable though, so I don't like sex as much- but that's also because there's only like 2 comfortable positions now.
On a slightly different note, I took advantage of the recent big kohls sale and 30% off to get some nightgowns for the hospital and post delivery. I got one nice maternity nightgown and matching robe (navy blue) and two cheap XL (non mat) nightgowns with button fronts. One of the cheap ones is velour.......SO SOFT! I might sleep in it every night, even if it is huge and shapeless. There isn't much sexy stuff going on in our house anyway

I also have cramps during sex. But I find if I turn some, it usually gets better. But I also really enjoy sex even while pregnant, so I may just ignore it.
@PikoPiko this might be an overstate question, so feel free to not answer. Do you get your BH while having sex, or after orgasm? Is there a different position you can try, if it is while you are DTD?
F15 December Siggy Challenge: Holiday Decoration Fails
Super TMI, the discomfort hit almost as soon as I was in the mood for it, and continued on while DTD. Didn't quite find a position that worked. I thought I was gonna go into labor.
Lately I've been having a lot of BH with minor cramps. I'm going to give it a rest, really don't want to be the next person to write a birth announcement...
I swear I normally try really hard not to complain (not that it's not allowed, but I get myself into negativity spirals that I can't get out of, so just not complaining is healthier for me) but I am really struggling right now. My heartburn is out of control. I've tried tums and Zantac, nothing worked. So my doctor prescribed something on Monday and warned that my insurance would reject it, but they'd work with the pharmacy to push it to be covered. I got a call it was ready the other day, and it was $300. They still haven't submitted the paperwork to insurance for coverage, and I decided to wait it out. I'm starting to regret not just shelling out the money for it because I am in that much pain tonight. I never thought simple heartburn would be so terrible, and I hate even bitching about it, because some women have so many more pregnancy issues- this seems like such a minor thing. But I can't lay down, I can't sleep, and I keep throwing up. It's like crazy frustrating.
Alright, bitching over. At this point I'm just hoping I get a call tomorrow that my recliner is in so I can start sleeping in that.
Re: TGIF Spam
Probably way TMI... apparently I can't have sexy time without BHs. I'm sad there will not be sexy time anytime soon.
But good news is I'm all done with Christmas stuff and we get to order the glider, crib, and dresser for the nursery tomorrow!
