Pregosterone ?

I'm 12 weeks and 3 days . I was told to take pregosterone until I'm 13 weeks . Anyone else taking this? Just want to know I'm not the only one ...

I just stopped it at the beginning of the week. Are you doing the shots?

I had to take a daily pill until about 13 weeks.

I was taking the vaginal injections every night . Does that mean your body was rejecting it ? @TheAlmostMom‌

I took it for the first twelve weeks because I did ivf. I think it just means you may not be producing enough of it. The placenta should take over creating it for you any day now

They gave it to me at 5 weeks BC I had a loss before. I stopped taking it a few weeks back.

I was on suppositories twice a day from conception until 14 weeks

Normally you are only put on progesterone if your levels are low, or if you had assistance conceiving.  Ours is an IUI babe, so they kept me on as a safety net.

I was on it due to doing ivf. I had to do it for the first twelve weeks. They say your body will start to produce it naturally after so far along that's why you usually only have to take it at the beginning. I did the PIO injections once a night but was on a double dose. My hip area is so thankful to have stopped them lol. Good luck and glad you are at the end of taking it.

I'm weaning off my PIO this week. Today was my last shot. I was on 2ml a day from a few days before my FET until 12w5d. I've taken 1ml for the last 2 days and today was my last shot. I'm 13w1d.

I took 2 progesterone vaginal sups a day bc of a previous loss. I stopped at 12 weeks. I felt sooo much better when I was done. They made me super tired and sick!

Omg I hated them so much!!!! I had to take endometrin until just shy of 10 weeks since we did IVF. I couldn't gave stopped soon enough. My vag was so irritated and pissed off. Soooo happy to be rid of those things. Next time around I will be asking for injections instead. No shit. I would rather stick myself in the ass with a needle than put those things inside me again.

I took 3 progesterone suppositories daily due to IVF up until 12 weeks. My digestive system and nausea almost immediately improved! I'm so glad to be off of those.

I was taking 200 mg of the capsules at night. 12 weeks and 3 days doc said I could stop. Thank god! I'm hoping to start feeling more human.
