Our families knew right away, but as far as other people go..
One of my students at around 8 weeks. He told me I was getting a little chubby in the middle. I told him he was rude to say and asked if he would like someone asking him that? He said "yes, I would want them to because I'd go to the gym." Buuurn.
Now, I'm clearly showing and none of the kids in that class have said a word HAHA. I think they're scared.

A friend of my husbands (& mine) totally called me out at the holiday party - I haven't seen this guy in ~a year, and right after a hug & "so good to see you!"s, he puts his hand kinda on my tummy & says something like "oh is there something going on here???" I'm terrible at thinking on my feet & just said "don't think too much into it..." & totally blushing. And this was at 13wks & I'm totally NOT showing, just maybe a bit bloaty that day hahaha. It was like he had some sort of intuition - he does have a tiny wife (I'm little too) and 2 kids, so maybe he just "knows" We ended up telling our group of friends later - my husband is too excited to keep many secrets now lmao
My boss. She called me out when I was 11 weeks and today I finally asked how she knew and she said it was because I have a tiny frame which made the slightest change noticeable. If she wouldn't have recently been pregnant too I probably would have called bullshit.
My step mom called me out for drinking water at a bar....I was barely 4 weeks. I asked her not to tell anyone and she keep the secret very well until we announced at Thanksgiving.
For a long time my husband was not into PDA not even holding hands and recently that changed. Well the husband and I decided to try and got pregnant right away but a week before I tested my BFF's husband asked if I was pregnant because my DH never holds my hand/cuddles me and he thought it was weird he started.
After my first apt when we had the US he was the first we confessed to
Our neighbor's 3 year old nonchalantly asked me what I am going to name my baby. All of us adults were very confused, especially me because I was 2 days away from my period. Their family didn't even know we were trying. I took the test 2 days later and sure enough that little girl was right!
I am a teacher and I was at a faculty lunch in and my science coach said that I was pregnant. I had no idea I took a test it was negative and then a week later BAM i got a bfp!!
My hygienist was the first to notice without me telling first! She asked me if anything was new, and i said no. I was asked to lie down and before she started working on my teeth she told me my belly was kind of bigger than usual. That's when i realized she knew and i said yes, its because I'm pregnant.
I made cupcakes for my best friend from my old school for her birthday and surprised her with them stopping by before either of our days started. She thanked me for the cupcakes and said "Are you going to tell me you're pregnant for my birthday?!" We had gotten our BFP two days before. I'm a terrible liar and just kind of stuttered and looked shocked then proceeded to tell her not to tell a soul. I didn't tell DH that I told her for a few days because I knew he'd be upset with me. Whoops
My parents hosted a family reunion in their vacation house, and one night, they invited their neighbors up there over for dinner with the rest of us (I've met them a number of times). One of the neighbors is a woman in her 70s who...well, I don't know if I'd call her an alcoholic, but let's just say she really likes her drinks. My mother says she once watched her fall over the back of a couch at a party, get back up, and not a single drop was spilled from her glass. That takes skill and/or practice.
Apparently at one point in the evening, Drunk Neighbor pulled my mother aside and told her that she dreamed that my mother told her that she was going to be a grandmother. I don't even know what my mother said to her, but she told me about it later and we laughed it off. Sure enough, the day after I got home from the reunion, I got my BFP. (We didn't tell our parents until after the 8-week ultrasound, but once we did, I reminded my mother that the old drunk had gotten something right!)
My mom called me out before I knew! The day she came into town for a visit, I donated blood (did it all the time) and I almost fainted after. I'd never had a problem before, and when I told her after picking her up at the airport, that was her first thought. I would have only been a few weeks at that point, but Mom totally knew! I know it's too early and Mom was probably just wishful thinking, but technically she was first.
After that it was best friend who noticed I didn't order my fave pumpkin beer at our local brewery, and DH and I couldn't stop grinning when she started stuttering and asking me why I wasn't drinking.
We told my rents at 9 weeks when they were over visiting from the UK and my Mum was like "yeh, I know, your roots are terrible and there's only 1 reason you wouldn't be dyeing them" Lol. Cheers, ma!
Just got called out. I'm 16 weeks. With dd I didn't show until well after 20 weeks. I'm a little embarrassed of the already obvious bump, so I've been trying to hide it at work with baggy clothes. Some people know at work, but I hate being the center of attention, so I haven't told many people. I work with adults with intellectual disabilities. A client just ask me if I was expecting a child. When I told him yes, he seemed a little shocked. I asked how he knew, and he said my stomach. So much for the clothes hiding it. I guess I'll show off my early bump proudly
Eta: only mentioning that my client has an ID, so no one says anything about him being rude. A lot of my clients lack social graces due to their disabilities.
