Hey everyone how often are you bathing LO? I usually do bath time every other night but I like the idea of a routine including bath time every night. The only part of his body that gets dry is his face so I end up putting lotion on his face a couple time in between baths. Are there negatives to bath time everyday? TIA
We do baths every other day and on non bath days we give her a little nice lotion massage before swaddling. It seems to relax her some. If your LOs skin isn't drying out from daily baths then I'm sure its fine to do so.
We do every other day also, but she loves bath time so it's a real treat for her. I just don't want her body to get too dry as she has some dry spots on her face as well.
We're still going on average twice a week (occasionally more often.. because babies can be messy) We get lotion rub downs every day after our wash cloth bath. I usually get her a warm wash cloth and do her hands, face, feet, and places where babies can get sticky. We usually do this at the first diaper change we're really awake for.
Baths clam our baby down, so she also gets extra baths from time to time when she's extra fussy.
We only do baths like 2 days a week. Every night though he gets a baby massage with lotion. He has ezcema and cradle cap so I keep baths to a min. Sad to say that also I feel like there is just no time in the day when I get home from work. He eats, we eat, he naps, he wakes up and hangs out for an hour than its off to bed.

I also lack the time after work. I feel like I have time to feed him and hang out for just a little bit before it's time for bed. I sometimes just let him sleep for a while on me so I can get some snuggles in.
Wow - I feel like a neglectful parent. We only bathe our LO once a week. He has eczema and CC so we have to keep it to a minimum, but he gets a wipe down and lotion every morning before getting dressed and every night before jammie time.
