Just "The Baby" when we go to bed I tell my wife to say goodnight to the baby and in the morning I say "say good morning to the baby" and I put her hand on my belly.

Our DS was JellyBean, turned JumpingBean when we saw him jumping all over his u/s vids ... his animal was a Kangaroo ... and he still doesn't sit still.

Our DD we knew was a girl shortly after finding out we were pregnant, and we had her name picked out. The way it is spelled reminds me of a Koala Bear, so that is her animal. (@anamerriam‌ your post made me think of this).

This one is LoveBug (the kids helped pick it out) and for various reasons, its animal is Lion.

My husband is a hobby artist and belly painted the animals on me each time for me to rock them.

The parasite. Or, when I'm feeling okay, the symbiote. I have this dream of going to a SFF con dressed as Jadzia Dax (Star Trek DS9) to announce it to my friends, and I think that's deeply influencing our nicknames lol.
