@catvaughn5002‌ I think I work at the right place - about half of the gifts were alcohol, a quarter we're gift cards, and there were some nice home type things (like a giant turkey roaster). There was only one crappy gag gift that didn't come with a gift card. Considering 80% of the participants were dudes, I was impressed!

UO- I am a morning person which people usually look at me like this: 

The only thing that sucks is that since I am a morning person I go to bed at an old person's time...and I miss all the late night shenanigans in here.

@jj32 and other morning people's...we can bump the night threads in the morning and have a party of our own. Although it may not last long since there won't be any alcohol involved (well, there could be but morning drinking is usually frowned upon for some dumb reason) 

@HoldingOutHope I wouldn't mind being like you, you seem pretty awesome  :-bd And one more thing we agree on..the Christmas holiday. I also hate what it has become. I should not be so stressed out buying gifts for grown ass adults that I have no idea wtf they want. I would love a Christmas where we just make each other gifts, more sentimental things. A friend of mine sent out a message that if anyone wanted to get her anything they could donate to the humane society in her name. I thought that was kinda cool. 

My other UO: I love ALL the different kinds of oreos. So many people think it's blasphemy to have something other than the original chocolate oreo. I love the birthday cake one, the chocolate chip cookie dough one, the rootbeer one and (even though I was leery at first, the fruit punch ones!

I have to admit, the cookie dough ones were a bit disappointing BUT, overall I flavored Oreos very much!

@kateisoptimistic I forgot about the lemon ones!  =P~

UO: I love buying presents and tend to overspend at holidays like Christmas because of it. I'm obsessed with finding Just. The. Right. Thing. for a loved one and don't mind spending hours on a search. Obvi Christmas should stand for something bigger than that (I do quite enjoy drinking heavily with my family as we all brave the holiday together through gritted teeth) but i love blindsiding folks with material shit they love and wouldn't buy themselves. #sorrynotsorry #hashtagsdontworkonthebump

I have a love-hate relationship with them. I truly think they are only one short step up from Pecan Sandies, the worst cookie in the world, and yet, when confronted with a stack of DoubleStuf Oreos, I will immediately commence making QuadrupleStuf Oreos and packing my arteries tight with their perfect white filling.

@PetraStonegirl- A dislike of Pecan Sandies.  I literally can't even BUT I hate pickles and people think I'm crazy. To each their own

I totally agree. The best Christmas I have had to-date with my family is when we "adopted" a family and spent all the money we would have spent on each other buying a meal for the family and gifts for them. My family all went to the store together and did all of the shopping together. It was such a neat experience and felt so good.

@jj32 it is always noon somewhere!  Do not be hampered by location or timezone!  I have enjoyed many a nice beer at 9 am in the summer, because it was well past noon in London and if they can drink I can drink!

1. I was disappointed in the winner of the voice. I thought Matt McAndrew should have won. Craig Wayne Boyd SUCKS!! (and I'm a big country music fan) He butchered classic after classic country song he performed. It was blasphemy, I tell you!! When he sang a George Strait song, I muted the tv it was so bad.

2. I HATE the movie 'A Christmas Story'. I think it's full on STUPID!!

YESSSS! I fully support this! MH can't believe that I hate it so much.

I tried watcing it once, but didn't finish it. I hated it that much! 

I don't know if this is actually a UO or not, but I hate when 2 people share 1 FB account. You can never tell who's posting and it's very confusing.
