This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently pregnant.

 

If there are any newcomers that would like to be added to the list, post below and include you EDD and how many beans you have cooking.

 

Checkin is every Tuesday, feel free to post updates all week.

 

Q: What have you been eating a lot of lately? Anything new you want to try?

 

Blueberries8-11/25-19+1 today...thankfully everything has been pretty uneventful lately. My PPROM milestone with Naava and Aminadav is this week. I will be so happy to hopefully get past it...I am pretty anxious, knowing the next 9ish weeks are super critical but psychologically, I think I will be able to better distinguish between the two twin pregnancies once I am past the gestation at which I lost N&A. I've had 2 good cervical length measurements since the borderline one. I am just exhausted by the end of the day (morning is my most functional time) and I am already getting sooo big. Feeling very, very thankful things are pretty boring right now.

Byrne15-10/14-I'm due on Dec 27th and will be 30 weeks tomorrow.  This baby is a girl and will be our 3rd and final.  Everything has gone very well this pregnancy and I'm looking forward to our Christmas time baby!

 

djma81-11/25-6w4d today! Had first US with RE yesterday.....just one little bean!! Woohoo!! Heartbeat good...119. Go back for another 12/8. 

 

Ducky719-EDD 3/8/15 -12/9-27w3d today! I am rounding out my second tri and that makes me so excited. I am officially at my favorite part of pregnancy: lots of strong movements that makes your belly jump, roll and move. I love it when she floats to the surface and i can feel her back. My next appt is Monday for my glucose screening. 

Itsmevkb-11/4-I'm 14 weeks today and feeling good about moving past my latest loss week.  I had my NT scan done and everything looked good.  In fact, my doctor says I have the same risk as a 29 year-old so hey, it feels good to be 29 again at least in something.  I'm getting huge already but there's something comforting to me about maternity clothes and actually looking pregnant.  At 16 weeks I'll have a cervical length check.

 

Jenny935-12/9-27w4d and hanging in there. Loving my physical therapy appointments because they keep me functioning! 

Jessylayne8-EDD8/15/15-12/9-My first check in over here! EDD 8-15-15. I hasn't sunk in yet that I am pregnant. My first appointment is not until Jan 5th.

Julie21613-My EDD is 7/21/15-12/1-I'm 7w4days today and had my first u/s. 2 beans cooking away measuring right on track.  Very excited but also a little bit terrified of 3 under 2!  

 

Kdfecarie, EDD 8/29/14 (CS 8/22/14) 7/22 sorry its been a while life is crazy here right now, and i dont see it letting up till maybe november! 35 weeks now, and baby will be here in 26 days! I cant believe its so soon!!! Been rough with contractions and sickness making a return... Only a few more weeks!

 

KDR1919- EDD 4/16/15-8/12 I'm very early, 5 weeks tomorrow. EDD 4/16/15. My ultrasound is scheduled for 8/25. I'm still taking estradiol and progesterone 3 x daily. I don't feel pregnant and this doesn't seem real yet! It is hard to believe that it took 12 embryos over 5 transfers to get my twins and this pregnancy is from 1 single frozen embryo?!?

 

KMC84-EDD4/11/15-12/9-I am 23w1d today! Lots of heartburn and my lower right back has been terrible lately DH's work schedule changed YET AGAIN but luckily he is back to his previous schedule so he is home more nights to help with A.  I have a growth scan on 12/17 and a check in with my endo. 

 

Lynnyloo-11/25-8w3d today, thankfully no more bleeding since last Monday, next appointments on the 9th with OB and 15th with the MFM.

 

LuvBoston, EDD 3/9/15-12/9-27 weeks 5 days baby is looking great. My back keeps going out and I have a lovely yeast rash. Also my family is passing around conjunctivitis I pray I don't get it because I'm a giant baby about my eyes.

 

mdiblasi10 –EDD 1/30/15- 12/9-I'll be 33 weeks on Friday. I'm feeling good! She is definitely growing a lot as my belly is getting very stretched and feeling very heavy and achy. My doctor appointments continue to go well. I was a bit stressed about my BP since I ended up with pre-e at delivery with Grayson and I do not want to do that again, but my OB was not worried and was very reassuring.

Mayzie15- EDD 2/01/15-12/9-32 weeks and doing well. I had my appt yesterday and everything looks good and heartbeat was great to hear again. We think baby is facing down so she be good to go for another vbac . My morning sickness is back with a vengeance and didn't have this with my first pregnancy - very strange. 

Mnerani – 9/2-Headed to 36 weeks this weekend! I have just started to feel big, slow, and tired- the lovely end of third tri. Our shipment from Kenya is going to be delivered to our house on Saturday (!) which is the last big, move-related "to do" before the baby arrives. Once we get all of that stuff moved in, I know I'm going to be like "OK, baby- time to meet your family!"

 

Mnj05-10w5d and still doing great. I keep forgetting that I am pregnant and find myself reaching for things I shouldn't eat or drink all the time. My next appointment is next Thursday. 

 

Pennylane26 -Boy EDD 11.26.14 –11/11-Thanks for all of the kind words last week ladies! So I was put on bed rest for high BP/early Pre-E symptoms on Monday but then my BP just kept going up and I spent the week on the postpartum unit in the hospital until they could get a handle on my BP meds. I was discharged Thursday afternoon and am on restricted activity. BP is ok, not great (a little high) so as of now I'm taking my meds religiously and hoping to put off an induction for a bit longer (my ticker is off, I am 36w4d). I would love to make it to 39w although I'm not sure that is going to happen!

 

Racheyt0277-EDD.6.22.15-12/9-I am 12w2d. I had my NT scan on Mon & everything looked good! Still waiting on my Panorama results! I may call again today to see if there are there.

srveatch –11/18- I just had my last visit before induction day on Tuesday. Baby brother seems happy and healthy and I am still 3cm dilated and holding steady so I guess I will make it til Tuesday which is alright with me. I like to plan things  I can't wait to meet this little guy but I am getting nervous about how I will handle being a mother of two and a wife and working full time. It all seems so overwhelming. QOTW: We usually bring her favorite toys for the ride and let her play apps on the iPad. We have found some free Educational apps made by Tiny Hands that she loves. They are puzzles and matching games. We also try to leave during sleeping or napping times. She is a great car sleeper so it works out well. We haven't flown with her yet but have flying trips coming up in February and in June and it will be both of them.

Robeano-EDD 2/3/15- 12/9-32 weeks. Had a midwife appointment today. They agreed with the OB's recomendations. So I won't be going past 40 weeks. If I hit 40 weeks, I get induced. Going to book an ultrasound for as soon as I can. Going to look at growth and position. FX for favourable for VBAC!

Hi Ladies.... sending hugs to all that need them.  congrats to @CCAM on your little girl!

Not much to report here.  I have another u/s 12/19.  Hoping my 2 beans are still there and growing!
Hopefully I will be released to my OB at that point.  I will be 9w4d.

Really haven't been eating much of anything except for toast.  Nausea is really bad.  Only thing getting me through is the hope that come 13 weeks I'll start to feel better.

I am 13w3d. I received my Panorama results & all normal for baby! They were not able to get enough to determine the sex though. I have an elective scan on the 30th to see if we can find out then! I'm happy to officially be in the 2nd tri.

12 weeks tomorrow! This pregnancy is flying by. I have an appointment this afternoon and it should be the first time to hear the heartbeat with my OB. QOTW: I haven't really been honing in on one specific thing lately. My queso craving subsided somewhat. Since today is the last day of school before the break, I've been eating lots of sweets that my kids have brought me. My weight should be interesting today.

33 weeks today. Having severe pelvic pain. Kinda feels like I did the splits and pulled my muscles. And to make it worse, I missed the last step at my friends house today and fell on my ass on cement. While holding Hannah's hand so she fell too. Well anyways, I can't walk without crying. It is so painful, it kinda feels like I broke my crotch. BUT no bleeding, no water breaking and I've felt baby move a lot. So pregnancy wise everything is fine, I talked to my midwives and they are not worried, b/c of previously mentioned things. But life sucks for me.  Any T&P you ladies can spare for a quick recovery I would appreciate. 

QOTW. Oh gosh, Wendy's. It's so bad, but its all I want!

@LeahB12 ya, I was worried it was that. It's been hurting all week. And my fall wasn't that bad, like I shouldn't be in this much pain. Anyways, I digress 

What else did you do for SPD? I know most things I've read online are like, "well it'll only get better after baby is born, in the meantime try not to overdue it."

23w5d today! Baby is quite busy throughout the day. My growth scan Wednesday put baby at 1lb6oz and the 48th percentile. My endo is great and works very closely with me and they joke (not really a joke though!) that there is nothing they love more than a 7 pound baby! Lol! Hopefully we can make that happen!

QOTW: I've been having pickle cravings recently! Can't get enough dill spears!

34 weeks today! I'm feeling good. Woke up this morning to the worst calf cramp, ugh. Scared poor hubby to death, ha. I have my routine OB appointment today and then I think in two weeks I start weekly appointments. Time is flying way too fast.

QOTW: Sweets. Our workplace has been bombarded with chocolate for Christmas! And I'm not complaining.

28 weeks 4 days had an OB appt today lil man was hiding, what is it with my kids they can't ever just show themselves. I still am growing enough yeast to bake 20 loaves of bread so they are giving me oral drugs.

Q: I've been main lining Mexican cola it's an addiction:)

@luvboston‌ you poor thing! This might be a long shot, but I wonder if grape seed extract topically would help? Or baking soda baths?

Baking soda helps with the itching but doesn't stop yeast. I will look up grape seed thanks!

@robeano I'm so sorry about your fall and the pain your in - hope you feel better soon.

@mdiblasi10‌ I've been having horrible leg cramps and can relate. Sometimes I'm in so much pain I jump up half asleep and he asks if it's time lol

I'm at 33 weeks and my leave starts January 5th - so I'm counting down the days!

QOTW I'm living on cuties they give me awful heartburn but I just keep eating them

I'm at 28w3d and feeling ok aside from all the hip and pelvic pain. In the eating department, I can say I'm having an unhealthy spurt - lots of things that are quick to cook due to little amounts of time. Christmas junk food doesn't help.

@robeano I am having the same thing (minus the fall) and pelvic floor PT has been a lifesaver. I'm not sure exactly what she does each time, but I just have to lay there and I leave feeling great for 24 hours and then decent for a few days and then it's my next appointment. She supposedly unfreezes my SI joint and then releases the connective tissue and muscle knots that the sliding pelvis is causing. Whatever it is, she's magic. Maybe you could find a place taking patients asap? It was my midwives that suggested it. Whatever you find, I hope you find something soon because pain on top of everything makes it so much harder!!
