Face creams

Does anyone have a brand they like? I'm looking at toners and stuff that minimizes sun/age spots, maybe some stuff that claims to reduce wrinkles. :) I avoid creams with all the junk in them and buy all the natural stuff now.  Rather than do research and try a bunch of different new creams, I thought I'd give the message boards a go!

Re: Face creams

  • I use, and really like Body Shop Nutriganics.  It's supposed to be for "first signs of aging" but doesn't have the chemical wrinkle reducers that a lot of face creams have.  I use the face wash and day cream, sometimes toner. I don't know if it does anything for sun and age spots (my sun spots went away after I went off BCP - yay!) but it doesn't dry out my skin or make me break out.

  • 100% Pure has some amazing serums as well as other skincare and even makeup. It's a bit pricey but even just looking at the ingredients should help you figure out what to look for in other products. Personally I wash my face with honey (+cinnamon+orange essential oil), use green-tea infused witch hazel diluted with water as a toner, and moisturize with Trader Joe's vitamin E oil. This balances my combination skin, controls my breakouts, and fades any dark spots I acquire pretty quickly (plus it's very budget-friendly).

    Good luck!
