    We have quite a bit of extra cash each month so i just buy gifts as i see them. I am seriously thinking about becoming a Stay at home mom with this child and its going to be a reality check loosing my income.

    We use a credit card and then pay it off with DH's bonus.

    We try to never use credit cards, however DH gets a really good card that we use for purchases only during the holiday season and for travel, then we pay the whole thing off in January and don't use it again. We get frequent flyer miles, dining points, and all kinds of neat stuff with his card. Otherwise we avoid credit at all costs.
